"Grand Mercure was actually closed for renovation, so we were sent to Mövenpick Petra and our stay was amazing! All Staff were exceptional and we were also upgraded! Mary Ann and all the staff in breakfast were amazing! Chef and all breakfast stations food was great! -evening dinner so much choice and taste was great! Even Ahmed at chocolate hour was really good and attentive- everyone showed love to my daughter and went out of their way to make her happy! Exceptional stay! "

"My stay was excellent. Thr property is very conveniently located and is only 1 min away from Petra's visitor center. The staff at the front desk (Rami) was very gracious to offer me a 2-hour late checkout so that I can freshen up after my visit to Petra. That was very mich appreciated."

"Very nice hotel, the room was small but beautifully decorated. Just consider that it's on top of a mountain in Petra. Close to the visitor center walking, like 10mins walk using some shortcuts, or a short ride in taxi. Our friend Andullah was so nice with breakfast! He saw us struggling and gave us a huge banquet...thank you so much for making us try an authentic jordanian breakfast!"

"Petra moon is a great hotel - from the outside it looks a bit old but the rooms have been renovated recently and are beautiful. The location is also excellent for tourists looking to visit Petra. Even more, the staff here are exceptional. My wife and I were in a car accident and I called the hotel to ask for help (everyone was speaking Arabic and we only speak English). "Simply perfect. Cheap, clean, friendly, helpful, close to everything. Paid $20 and I was extremely pleased. Perfect hidden gem. Highly recommend if you want a clean room and bed to lay your head with no frills. We loved it zero complaints and the rooftop OMG to die for what a view. "

"The location was perfect - central to the town, with so many restaurants and shops within a very short walking distance. The front desk clerk gave us a breakdown of the three most common ways to visit Petra, and recommended the best of the three. The room was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Breakfast was on par with what you'd expect in Jordan. I would definitely return to this hotel next time I'm visiting Petra."
