"A bit more of a cabin vibe than I realized it was going to be. No biggie, the room had what I wanted (washer dryer in unit) and the jacuzzi was great."

"Great central place to stay with the wharf very close and the casino just across the road. Rooms that have been renovated are lovely, the ones that haven't been are very outdated and damaged and even though we booked 2 the same had different size beds, tiny TV's, no balcony furniture, bath in one and not the other, and then smelled mouldy. Staff were very obliging and upgraded our rooms due to the condition and smell to the amazing rooms. Buffet breakfast was nice, lots to choose from and always been refreshed and refilled. Parking was an extra daily fee, and you can go in and out away times as you needed. The main foyer was clean and inviting with a tourist desk to book if required. The gym was basic but usable. Pool was very clean with loads of deck chairs."

"I recently stayed at the Cairns Harbourside Hotel and overall had a very pleasant experience. The property was clean, well maintained, and conveniently located close to the Esplanade and other local amenities, making it a good base for exploring Cairns. The furnishings and décor inside the room felt somewhat dated and could benefit from a refresh. However, the room was comfortable and clean, which is ultimately what matters most. One of the highlights of the stay was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful, providing excellent customer service throughout our visit. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options, but the food itself was fairly average in terms of taste. We also tried the pizza for dinner, which was acceptable but nothing particularly memorable. On the other hand, the piña colada dessert was outstanding and easily the best item we tried from the restaurant. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend Cairns Harbourside Hotel, particularly for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located place to stay in Cairns."
