Room is simple with matress, small ground table, A/C. Not much soundproof. No elevator & need to use stiff stairs. Host seems living in 1st floor. Use key to open/close room. Place is located on the side of small car road, not inside. Search '清舎' on google map."

"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. "The hotel is beautifully positioned adjacent to the park, so watching the deer while enjoying a drink is easy. The rooms are absolutely fine with plenty of space, good views and are very clean. My only disappointment is that they are trying too hard to be 'fancy'. The drinks menu at the bar area is very nice, but just far too select to the point of being minimal. No water in the room, you collect from a filter unit in the basement in a jug. There's a kettle but only matcha tea provided. Etc . It's just not my style at all, but may suit many people."

"I have stayed this hotel several times for many reasons. Very convenient location. Extraordinary services with the staffs. Great breakfast buffet with Japanese and western food. The laundry service has changed a little bit but you still can use ehe wash machines complimentary. You need to pay for using dryer, however, it still decent service. I could relax my body after soaking in Onsen bathtub. I would come back again for sure!"

"Most comfortable huge bed and room! Bath and gym area are very well designed and offer many amenities. Nice areas to read stocked with very interesting books. Hotel is not close to the main tourist area, it is next to the convention center. This may be not perfect for tourists that want to be closer to the popular areas. To me the bed and quiet were better than the crowds..."
