THE NICI Bournemouth

"Loved the hotel, great value for money. I went for the cheapest room and it didn't feel like you were having a cosy room. Loved that there was a bath and shower. Felt great for adults but also child friendly, which is great when you like an adults hotel but are traveling with a child. Pool was lovely, views are great, felt like you were in the South of France. The only let down for me was the food. Breakfast was great. However we stayed on a Sunday and both restaurants had a Sunday roast menu. Which meant you had to go out for the evening if you didn't want more roast. The roast was not great. Veg came out cold and then the fresh were just not good. It felt like a cheap roast but wasn't cheap. Also who really wants roast in the summer. Some of the staff in the restaurant weren't the friendliest. All in all a great hotel."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly, pool was on the small size with a section roped off for swimming lessons but clean. Room was very large however the sofa which doubles as a bed was disgusting with crumbs and Lego inside. The walls also had multiple dirty marks on. There wasnโt a good selection of toiletries which for a spa hotel was disappointing. Breakfast was good with a nice selection on offer. I would stay again"

"The view of the harbour is why you stay here and it doesnโt disappoint- just stunning. Locals and visitors flock to the outside terrace to enjoy a cocktail overlooking the harbour. We ate at the restaurant and both food and drinks were good but our dinner order was misplaced so we waited 75 minutes between starter and main. As an apology we werenโt charged. The room looked a bit tired and in need of a refurb but it was clean and the bed was comfy. We also had a view of the harbour (free upgrade). Staff was friendly but service is a bit chaotic - the staff lack set routines and need some training. The breakfast was tasty."

"We arrived late at the Sleeping Bear Hotel and the self check-in was incredibly easy and smooth. We simply pressed the green button by the door and followed the instructions. Walking through the hallway, staircase and lovely sitting/living room area with my daughter, we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and cosy everything looked. There were lots of comfortable sofas with cushions, making it feel just like home, and we loved that we could make coffee from the machine whenever we wanted. Our room was very clean and cosy, and the mattress was unbelievably comfortable and soft. At check-out, the two lovely ladies at reception even found me a takeaway cup so I could take my coffee with me. A truly wonderful stay โ I will definitely be coming back!"
