"Beautifully renovated and clean room in a small building next door to the pub. We both found the mattress on our bed to be a bit too firm though. It made a lovely base for a couple of days exploring the area and the nearby beach (15 minute walk) is stunning. For a longer stay the room may possibly be a bit small but for two nights it was ideal. Good breakfast and the meals in the pub were very good without being overly expensive. Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking at the pub is very limited with the on-street parking being resident permit parking so you may have to use the free public car park a few hundred metres away."

"Lovely stay at a lovely location. Staff were lovely a d the lookout room was great. Breakfast was also delicious. My only critique would be the dinner menu didn't have many vegetarian options (one starter, one main and one salad) so we ended up having to get a takeaway instead of dining I. The restaurant."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our room (127) was spacious and well equipped, in a quieter position looking over the car park away from but conveniently located for the main road. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food (breakfast and dinner) was excellent too. Would definitely recommend and stay here again ๐Ÿ‘"

"Enjoyed a 2 night stay, although room was a bit snug, it was clean and comfortable and had full length mirror and plenty of plug sockets which is always good. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed a few drinks in the bar. The breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from ... delicious fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereal and cereal bars, every spread you could think of for toast and the cooked breakfast was really tasty, again with lots of choice. We would happily stay again if visiting Amble in the future ๐Ÿ˜Š"
