"The furniture in the room was pretty scratched up and worn down. There are no plugs near the nightstands close to the bed. The breakfast was glazed donuts, and coffee. Not really breakfast.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean"

"Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."

"If you're an experienced traveler this hotel would rate above a hostel. I didn't notice the rating before booking but once there it explains the rating. It's a nice quiet place but, there wasn't a phone in the room and the rickety stairs had me worried coming and going. The bedding looked to be a couple years old but, it was clean. There wasn't a chair in the room so I had to sit on the bed. No guide for the television which meant I had to surf through the channels. AC worked great though kept...
