The Staff were truly fantastic, in a genuine and friendly way. My Only gripe was that the road noise in the room was VERY loud. hard to sleep with scooter noise and horns all night.
I really enjoyed my stay yet again was well and truly made to feel at home.
The Consierge team went out of their way to arrange a trip to a remote village I wished to visit and Chef Moran and his team presented some delicious food.
A lovely place to stay, ideal for central KL. I stayed in a lovely spacious room, all the staff were extremely polite, approachable, knowledgeable and keen to assist. Consierge Hafizi and Chef Moran people of note.
Hotel Review
The hotel was clean overall, and the housekeeping service was excellent. The staff did a very good job keeping the room tidy and well maintained. Breakfast was very good and hospitality from the staff was superb
However, the bathrooms are in need of some updating. It would be great to have a modern bidet, and the toilet seat is very low and could be more comfortable. The carpet also needs a proper wash.
The air conditioning was another issue. Even after setting the temperature to 24°C, the room remained too cold.
Overall, a clean hotel with a very good housekeeping, but the bathrooms, carpets, and air conditioning could definitely be improved.
It was okay. There are some things that I felt were poor. The good things - the staff were friendly, the rooms are big, it’s in a good location and there is a mall across the road with coffee shops and restaurants.
The pool area is really run down and needs refurbishments. The rooms also look tired and need modernising. Room service is reasonably priced but painfully slow and showed up cold every time.
Having stayed at several 5* hotels in Kuala Lumpur I’d say this really doesn’t hit the mark. If you’re in KL for one or two nights and this place is the cheapest option for you then I’d say it’s fine. It just wouldn’t be my choice again.
The room was in good condition and the staff were very friendly.
The pool area and spa were facilities were nice to use especially to relax in the evening
The facilities at this hotel are poor and not well maintained - loungers by the pool are stained and ripped. The pool itself has many cracks and not well maintained. Booked this hotel to enjoy some 5 star luxury and enjoy some R&R using the hot tub and steam room - both were out of use due to maintenance.
Ceiling vents in common areas have black mould and general common areas of the hotel aren’t maintained well / could definitely do with redecorating.
Booked the package with a 2 course dinner, 2 drinks and breakfast included - the staff didn’t know anything about the 2 drinks so this was falsely advertised. I didn’t eat much of the 2 course dinner - the beef satay tasted weird and the prawns with the Nasi Goreng smelt off. What I did eat, gave me a bad stomach so would’ve been far better off eating at a local food court for a fraction of the price. Breakfast food options weren’t great either so didn’t eat much.
WiFi was impossible to connect to during the stay.
Overall I was really disappointed with my stay and the hotel was not value for money (considering what I paid for the package). The hotel is advertised as 5 stars but I’d say it’s closer to a 2 star hotel which hasn’t seen much decoration/maintenance since the 90’s. Sadly I was glad to check out early before 10am which wasn’t how I wanted to end my stay in KL! Would not recommend
Excellent service from the moment we arrived until the very end of our stay. The staff were truly fantastic—friendly, professional, and always helpful. The room was very comfortable and impeccably clean throughout our stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety of options, although international choices were somewhat limited. The fresh-pressed juices were excellent.
The room offered breathtaking views, a spacious and elegantly designed interior, and a luxurious bathroom. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Neighborhood was very walkable and close to important areas.
The stay was perfect. Really located in the heart of city centre. Easy to get food as lots of cafe and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly.
Overall experience is ok despite that it is a bit dated.
Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Aircon was very cold. However, there are times when it felt that the Air-conditioning was Off. Perspired in the night.
Shower equipment and bidet could have been more friendly. Need to have a modern hot cold mixer and bidet should be lever on/off. Reaching to turn on n off the valve is not friendly.
Interior is like a grand old dame. Nice but can be polished up to look more grand.
Carrot cake was wonderful but took a long time to arrive with the birthday greetings.
