"Hotels in Shenzhen are not really rated at the same level, in terms of stars, as those in many other metropolitan areas. 5-star ratings here seem to be more like 4-star elsewhere. This Ritz had great service but the room itself is not that well maintained. My biggest gripe is the ventilation in my room (which was upgraded for free to the executive level) was poor. "I booked a 3 sleeper room, all things are good, except that I need to pay for the third person, which does not mention in Expedia. Breakfast is good too."

"As always, great place to stay. I would suggest to improve wi-fi but if you ask about it, they will put a wi-fi booster in the room. Shower door also had a problem and did not close well leaving water on the floor each time. Other than that, service is fantastic, spa is great and breakfast is perfect with lots of choices. Great area also to walk around, and close to new metro station Huaide. "
