"Booked a corner room for a week, because I like it as I saw it on YT. Was upgraded to bigger room, with separated living room, but asked to have the corner room. I really like the corner room and I think it was the right decision to choose this one. The room is super nice with a good view on Beijing (view on the Peninsula Hotel). Rest of there hotel room was as you expect it. Super nice and comfy bed, awesome bathroom spacious rooms. Hotel is in an excellent location. 2 min walk to Wangfujing...

"The hotel itself was beautiful, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. However, we did encounter a slight issue at the Garden Lei restaurant. They did not allow us to charge the meal back to our room, which was a bit inconvenient. When we tried to pay, the EFTPOS machine requested a six-digit PIN, but our card only has a four-digit one. "The property is older but full of great charm. Staff is friendly and absolutely accommodating. Construction was going on at the street but didn’t impact our ability to get around. Would definitely stay again! So close to Forbidden City and Wangfujing. There is a reason they are so highly rated!!!"
