Perfect Escape from NYC

The hotel is one of a kind. Beautifully located just across from the beach in a quiet area. Very little, practically zero traffic. The room was very comfortable. All rooms are overlooking the bay. The beach was quiet and the water amazing for swimming. The personnel was kind and helpful. We even had ice delivered to the beach by the Ice Man :) There are several restaurants within a short drive. I recommend Commander Cody’s Fish Market (casual, great seafood). We were there on Tuesday and the bar and restaurant are closed on Tuesdays. There is more going on between Thursday and Saturday, we were told. Overall, an amazing five star experience.

The location and room were great for a beach hotel. No room service and no coffee in the room The restaurant opens late and doesn’t serve breakfast. Otherwise amazing.

Needs some tender loving care , Rooms are feeling Jaded, Paint, door refurbishment ,and the terraces need floors replaced and repaired Has great bones , but plenty of money needs to be made available after the season, to ensure all the work in the winter gets completed…-It can either be maintained and be a place to go or be a major disappointment…. Up to management
