"Nice, Labor Day stay in a lovely setting! We stayed in a room in the lodge, which was basic but exactly what we were looking for in a one-night stay to attend a nearby wedding. (Friends stayed in a yurt, so we were able to peek inside, and that was large and, they said, comfortable too.) Clean, a good size, and most of what we needed was there, including a fridge. The staff members with whom we dealt were VERY, VERY SWEET! Very hospitable, friendly...they even let us check in early so we could...

"The location was centrally located to various breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants, and basically everything else you could need. The upper Lakeview cottage had a fantastic view of the lake and the campfire was a spectacular way to view the sunset. The grounds and cottage were super clean and well maintained. We hope to be back soon!"

"The breakfast prepared each day was good. The room was clean for the most part but the windows were very old and weathered. They were covered by a clear plastic cover in a plastic frame. There were many bugs between the windows and the covers and at the base of the covers were Kleenex to fill in the gaps. This was corrected after I noted it as a concern. "Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception...

"The property is old and due for renovation. It was very clean. Staff were very personable and helpful. Offered breakfast. Had a small gym. It was close to wineries and within 30 miles of major waterfalls. Free parking. I would stay there again and look forward to the renovations."
