"The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was offered tea brought to my room on arrival. The bar was closed for one night of my stay, but I was advised the day beforehand. That wasn’t an issue at all. The location was great. Lovely local areas. Plenty of cafes and restaurants and walks nearby. Bus stop direct to the station right outside the hotel a real bonus! "We got an upgrade ? But didn’t tell us it was straight above the building site below that started jackhammering at 7.30 am so we had an early alarm!!!! And the door stop in the bathroom we both stubbed our toes on it rather a silly place to put it"

"We always stay in this hotel when visiting the area. We have tried others, but always regret not coming to this one. The rooms are lovely, clean and well maintained, the staff are warm and friendly, the food is delicious, and there is parking on site. It is always a pleasure to stay here."

"Even though the hotel was clean and well maintained, I found the entrance difficult to find and also a lack of parking which required parking my vehicle at a parking garage in the city about three blocks away. At night returning from there back to the hotel, I felt uneasy as there were some shady individuals in that area."

"AVOID! On arrival we got our keys from the keylock which was a simple process. When entering the apartment it completely stunk of cigs and w - as if people had been in there for days smoking. Even aside from the foul smell the place is very run down, lots of marks and stains on the walls etc. The glass hob surface had a large chip/crack on it which you could easily cut yourself of. A number is given to contact and says it's staffed until 8pm. We arrived about 8:30 but messaged basically...

I booked it thru Hotels.com app. It's my new go to app for travel related bookings after the poor treatment I got from Booking.con who refused me a refund on a booking that I couldn't use because the owner has changed the code on the key box and not updated this information on booking.con.
