"Clean & comfortable bed. Bathroom outdated but clean. Air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool while it was +30c outside. As mentioned in other reviews, visible homelessness in the area however they didn’t loiter about the hotel property and didn’t cause us any problem. It’s a good place to stay for the night if you’re passing through and need something economical."

"This location is a beautiful property. We were given one of the waterfront rooms in the newer portion of the building. The room was clean and very well equipped had we have wanted to prepare our own meal. Instead we opted to have dinner at Riva, the restaurant in the same building which was an amazing experience. The property is in a wonderful area of Sidney with shops, restaurants, a great waterfront walking area. We would certainly return here again but next times would stay for a few days."

She got a map and marked it all up for us with recommendations on what to see and where to go on a lovely hike, plus with the scenic route to get there. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was tastefully updated, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen, the bed was comfortable and it was spacious for my wife and me. The shared outdoor space was immaculate and we enjoyed a morning of swimming off the docks and reading in the hammocks. The climate control in the room worked efficiently and quietly. "I booked this accommodation for my parents while they were visiting from out of province. They absolutely loved their stay at Woodside Farm Country Inn!! They thought the interior design was incredible and loved the antiques. They raved about how pristine it was. Mom loved the deep soaker tub. They said breakfast was delicious. "there is no staff there so you are on your own - but that is ok - it is a very small place - old but totally updated inside no extra emenities at all on the outside (ice etc) the stairs to the top floor are not the best but if you are fit, they work!! Booking was great with Expedia but the hotel itself says you need to fill out a form and give 2 pieces if ID? which is not true!! for the money it was worth it"

"Very accommodating to early check in request. A very cosy little cottage just a tiny bit on the small side. Two suitcases - not a lot of space to have them both open. Very clean, great area - peaceful and beautiful grounds - views were lovely. Would def stay there again if in Victoria.
