Not great for western visitors
Check in was fine. Room was large but hot and couldn’t get the ac working. Breakfast was aimed at Chinese customers so less for European travellers however I didn’t see any other Europeans in the hotel the entire trip. Couldn’t get a taxi and no one to help on 3 occasions

Excellent service. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I don’t have local phone number couldn’t get a didi account (like Uber). The staff used his personal phone to ordered a car for me.

Great area , seems modern very much
Location is within walking distance of the train station. Check in was easy. Room upgrade was given. My only complaint was the breakfast, it was not as good as Pullman Jingan near shanghai station, many choices seemed from the day before, not fresh. The breads, cereals, bread pudding, many of the foods did not taste that good. Just the juices and water was good and the omelet ///

Away for the Holidays
Was very cold but the hotel was super easy to locate and within walking distance from the location I was at. Very Stylish and being away from home on christmas my only comfort was the room.

Don’t go to spa
Had a neck massage at the spa. It wasn’t very good. I asked for neck shoulder massage, but they charged me two times the neck massage which is more than the neck shoulder massage. There was a 20% for in-house guests, however they did not give me the discount, even when I billed it to the room. I went to back to resolve the pricing but was refused at any point I made

nice and friendly hotel to stay, 10 mins walking to metro station. Surroundings are quiet, especially if you are going to take train from Shanghai South station ( no bullet train from this station). The Chinese restaurant inside hotel is yummy.

We are delighted that in general you are satisfied with your stay in our hotel and especially our staff and hotel cleanliness.We are sorry our friendly staff did not explain more in details the reason regarding the amenities. Following the recently published government policy and Effective July 1st 2019, the government announced a new regulation. All hotels in Shanghai are no longer pro-actively providing single-use products such as toothbrushes, combs, shower loofahs, razors, nail files and shoe brushes. Warmth and hospitality at its very best !
The front desk reception staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. Its front desk manager Gary He is a natural hotelier. He is always available. Gary is naturally courteous and a wonderful manager at this hotel.

Clean and comfortable room. Hard time ordering room service as they speak English poorly. The restaurant was pretty good. One of the waiters gave me rock hard bread for my soup at the Savor restaurant and one of the assistant manager Eric H. caught it on time and gave me soft fresh bread. I hope he gets promoted.

The Pullman was amazing! Luxury at an affordable price. Room was spacious with a great view, very clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast is a must! My team and I will absolutely be back next time we are in Shanghai!

Very comfortable stay
Love everything about this hotel, from the service to the room. Will stay there again on my next visit to Shanghai. Next to this hotel there’s a shopping mall with a great Sichuan restaurant.

The hotel is of a good standard - nice, spacious rooms with good ambiance. Fitness center is good quality. The thing that let the hotel down was the service in the main restaurant and the poor quality of the food at the buffet. Also, the service in the restaurant was TERRIBLE - we had to wait an hour for my meal; a simple chicken breast!

Excellent stay at pullman
Excellent services and clean environment at pullman. Unfortunately, the location is not that great, off the city center. But good for visitors coming from shanghai south railway station. Definitely a place to revisit when I'm back to shanghai.
