"Price is good. We are a family of four and we got a container with six beds. The room is clean but my daughter complained that it has some sort of motor oil or paint smell (I didnโt smell anything). Staff was friendly. They allowed me to check in at 2pm. Their instruction of finding the hotel helped. Location is nice. I recommended for family more than 4 people as it is not easy to find room with 6 beds. The room is narrow because it is a container."

"Very convenient location close to the train station. Clean and modern facilities with public baths and bar. Fantastic breakfast with a choice of Japanese set breakfast or western style breakfast buffet. Highly recommend for those looking to stay in Otaru in comfort."

"The amenities and services in the hotel are very good. However, since there are no buildings next door, the signs for entering can be somewhat hard to read, and if you try to enter through the main entrance, it is relatively far from the station, so I felt that the access to the hotel was not as good as it was described."

"Online pics showed a room with a desk but mine had only a bench and small low table. I asked the front desk staff to help with making a reservation and they refused and instead wanted me to use a QR code for a reservation service that did not have the restaurant listed. They just stared at me blankly."

"The location was very convenient & in a quiet area. Just around a 10 minute walk from Otaru Eki. A 5 minute walk to the canal. There's a Family Mart across the street from the hotel. There was also a cute little shop selling mochi and manju nearby. I loved how the hotel was in a historic building. The bathroom was spacious & modern. Comfortable bed. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Would definitely stay there again."

"Very easy and close to get to from the station. Staff were pleasant. Coffee and seating in the foyer was very helpful coming in from the cold weather in February. Breakfast was across the road in the other building if you wanted it. "
