"We absolutely loved our time with Doddi and his wife at their guesthouse, and it has quickly become a highlight of our trip! Lonsleira Apartments

"The Lonsleira Apartments is a unique collection of 4 apartments or two buildings (duplex) side by side by the water in a beautiful fjord. Everything you would need is in the apartment. A kitchen with all the amenities, spacious bathroom and many bedrooms. Also an outdoor deck with BBQ. We are a family room and there was ample space for us to share. Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. It is a smaller town so various restaurants weren't open during our stay and grocery store closes by 5-6pm. The self check-in process was smooth and easy. Parking outside the apartment is perfect. All 4 apartments were in use when we stayed and could not hear the other. Also a laundry rooms is available for use as well on property which was super helpful for us. To be honest, I was debating whether I should book the Lonsleira Apartments at first as it wasn't your typical "hotel" accommodation but I am so glad I did as it was one of our highlights for our trip around Iceland. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. "

"Such a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful town. The scenery along a mirrored lake and next to the Blue Church was breathtaking. The room was really large with a balcony view of the lake. The bed was cozy and the sheets so soft. She even left us an entire chocolate bar to enjoy. We loved our stay!"
