The exterior of the building was fairly up to date and well lit. The rooms are in desperate need of a makeover. The first room we checked into had a musky odor and we immediately noticed the comforter on the bed was soiled with stains and a hole. The carpet was also spotted and in need of being changed. Pretty sure it was beyond shampooing. We then asked for another room. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and gave me another room to check out. It too had an odor but was slightly better. As far as the second room goes it was pretty much the same as the last in regards to condition. The comforter was filthy looking and the carpet was spotted. We also had some people making noise on the balcony above us at about 3am, and this continued off and on for about 45 minutes. On the positive side the price was cheap in comparison to other hotels we looked at on Expedia, but in my opinion it was not worth it. The 7.8 rating on Expedia is too high. These rooms were probably closer to a 5.5 to 6 out of 10. I hate to write this review but I feel people need to know what they are getting.

The place is very outdated with the bathroom sink as the exception. It didn’t look like the room had been vacuumed in a while. The smell of the room was bad. Burn marks in the bed covers. Some kind of residue crusted on the night stand. Very dusty. Shower head was crusty and a bit of hair left in the shower.

This is a no frills, clean, quiet place to stay. We loved that it’s right in front of a creek which the balcony overlooked. We saw squirrels, ducks, and more while sitting there. We will def be back!

The location and low cost are what I was looking for and received but this Motel 8 is not being kept up.
The bottom line for the Pigeon Forge area... I got what I paid for.

Looks are deceiving! Property is run down. The “free breakfast” consists of a small bowl of muffins that were empty when we went in to get ours. Guy at the desk said they were all gone and they didn’t have anymore. Mmm k. He’s the same employee that when I walked in on check-in day to see if our room was ready didn’t even ask my name or get up out of his chair to actually check. The parking lot was completely empty. The picture Expedia has posted of what appears to be where you get breakfast at is non-existant. Must be a fake picture because “breakfast” was on a small table across from the check in counter. We ended up leaving the night before check out. Nothing special here and definitely won’t be back.

Booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 3. Although the property is older, the room and premise was clean and orderly. Staff was helpful with directions and suggestions for dining and locations. We will definitely book with this property again!

Stay was ok but not great. Check In staff was not personable at all but check in was pretty simple. The breakfast offered was only cold muffins and coffee. Not expecting 5 star dining but didn't expect that. Room was ok. It's dated and showing some age. The 2nd night front desk lady was awesome and so welcoming when we needed some extra towels. All in all an easy stay at an older, cheaper place.
