"We stayed here previously in a suite which was not available on this trip. We had a studio which was nice, but on top floor If I was even 5 years younger it would have been fine. Helpful with parking our rental. There is some free parking close by but it is by luck until 5 pm. Costs €4 to park over 24 hours, which isn’t bad. Lots of great restaurants close by."

"Goldilocks-sized property with quality facilities. The fact that they have both outdoor and indoor pools ensures a good time even if rain hits. Spa and restaurant were both really good. Breakfast bar had a thorough spread on offer. Very nice to be able to walk to the beach and watch sunsets. Staff are very friendly and accommodating, and let us hang out at the pool while waiting for 4pm room check-in. Would definitely stay there again "

"I have stayed at Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico five times in the last 18 months. The staff is especially friendly and accommodating. Antonio in particular always greets you with a warm smile and an interesting fact about the island. His quick wit is a plus too! I will always stay at the Grand Hotel. "
