"Villa Gale Tomar has updated a gorgeous historic location along the Nabao River while still honoring it's historic charm. We booked a room with a balcony facing the outside pool and river, and were more than pleased with our accommodations. The hotel has ample parking in the prettiest parking lot I have ever used, only 1 block across the river to the downtown main street, and is full of elegant charm!"

"This property was fantastic. Great views. We had to leave early the next day and the staff dropped off a basket full of breakfast foods for us to take with us and prep before leaving as the buffet would not be open when we departed. Beyond what was expected of them."

"The hotel was in the old town with excellent restaurants within 1 min walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Bus/train station just a 10 min taxi ride away. I will stay there again when visiting Tomar."

"Wonderful hotel, 5 minute walk to the town centre. Travelling on motorbikes secure parking is very important to us. We were able to book the hotel private outdoor parking (on-site) for a fee. There are security barriers to enter/ exit. Great facilities, loved the pool. Very comfortable room with air conditioning. Breakfast options were very good. Supermarkets and shops etc very close by. Would recommend."

"Delightful Old European Palace Hotel with beautiful premises and absolutely awesome staff and an awesome breakfast buffet and great traditional Portuguese cuisine - in one of Portugalās most undiscovered but magnificent mountaineous area with stunning ancient stone villages out of medieval movie - I can only recommend you take a couple of days to come visit this area and stay at this beautiful hotel"
