The hotel's location was absolutely perfect , right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to all the major attractions, restaurants, and public transportation, making it easy to explore everything

The Deluxe Bungalow was absolutely perfect for our needs and everything within it worked flawlessly. Sarah kept the bungalow spotlessly clean throughout our entire stay. Incredible Staff Service The staff were all nothing short of amazing. When we unexpectedly became ill during our visit, one of the incredible team members came directly to the bungalow, took our shopping list, and went to the supermarket for us. This act of kindness speaks volumes. I sincerely wish I could recall his name—that's what I mean when I say the staff at this hotel are truly exceptional! They treated every guest with the same level of outstanding care and consideration. A Perfect Getaway We will definitely be returning next year and planning a longer stay. My birthday trip was simply amazing. One final, but important, note: the air conditioning in the bedroom bungalow was perfect and, even better, was included in the price. See you next year, Palma Rima Hotel!

I will be back

I have stayed here many times and found the staff to be excellent. Large pool and great location for the bars and beach It is no 5 star hotel but you get value for money and a feeling of space as you walk around the grounds

The location of the Palma Rima is excellent and the bungalows are a good size and in nice grounds. The staff are all excellent particularly the reception staff and money exchange (safe) man (Buba Demba) and all of the security and cleaning/maintenance staff who we had most dealings with. The breakfast is not the best however with limited choice. We also never ate or drank in the hotel due to the cost.

I absolutely hated this property and left a week early. Breakfast is limited and lacks variety. Poor and delayed response from management for an upgrade even though vacancies existed. Ground staff did their best. It took ages for my reservation to be sorted out when I arrived. Absolutely awful place.

No air conditioning when we got there. Toilet not flushing We requested a better room. We then had to pay more. They wouldn’t give us a fridge or air conditioner until we paid upfront Service was really bad

Me and my partner had over 2 weeks of vacation, staying at Palma rima, standard room and last few days bungalow. Its not a luxury hotel but was perfect for my taste with helpful charming staff, everyday cleaning, I like the pool area and the gym. Would absolutely come back.

A great way to spend a couple of weeks

Plenty of room to move around, spacious pool area with great bar and screens for watching the World Cup. Approachable management and friendly staff with a desire to help and assist you. So handy for the beach and all the amenities of Palma Rima road Lie by the huge pool with a cool drink and watch the palm trees sway in the breeze

Having booked this hotel as economy I was not expecting to much ... however I was not expecting to look over a building site I had not been told about, and only told by a friend who had booked in the day before. Having paid the day before I travelled an addtional nearly £100 upgrade to Standard Room, it is nothing like the photos shown on the Palma Rima site. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND if you have booked Palma Rima hotel you find out which room you have been allocated before travel. I will try to up load photos of how close building site is to property. If you are allocated room room on building site side of hotel , you can expect early morning noise, dust from building works and very unhelpful Management. Also high costs of extras like fridge, safe, extra fans hire etc that makes this non economy stay. What made my stay good is the most amazing staff, always friendly, polite and helpful ... Management could learn a lesson from their staff. Just as a foot note I have worked in hospitality for many,many years, and in hospitality management now, and never met such poor Management ... but also never met such amazing staff ... I would happily hire anyone of the staff I met, I really mean that. I write this review to help but please check your allocated room

Okay

Made me pay extra for aircon and a fridge around £80 for a week . Hotel staff brilliant, breakfast pretty average. Restaurant food prices ridiculous compared to local restaurant prices . Also had numerous issues with my partner bringing her friend in to the hotel for drinks .I wouldn’t stay there again
