Very basic hotel and overpriced for what it is. Staff were friendly but the rooms are dark and dated, particularly the bathroom. There was a strong smell of chlorine throughout the hotel- so it was very clean but had a strong unwelcoming smell. This hotel is at the bottom end of three star/acceptable and I would say is with no more than £100 per night. Overall very disappointed

No-frills stay
Yeoksam is a business district and the hotel would have been more suitable for business trips, but I did enjoy my stay with my sister as our itinerary revolved around Line 2 Metro. Check-in was easy and the room is very clean and new. The bathroom, including the tub, was clean too. One small flaw was that our curtain didn’t close all the way, and we could feel the chills entering from the window into the room. No biggie though.

Rooms are not soundproofed and other guests doors etc can be heard banging. It takes forever to get the lift on a morning. Breakfast is expensive but food is average. This hotel is very expensive for the class, I'm sure better value is available elsewhere.

The AC didn't work. Stayed 13 days. 3 days were freezing cold but 10 were super hot. Out was averaging 78 and 80 degrees. Multiple calls to staff they said, close the curtains, which were already closed. We sweat through most nights. Spent thousands on the 13 days total, so I'm super disappointed.

Love to send appraisals to staff name, Mr Ahn at front desk. He was very willing and efficient enough to help us out for room arrangements than 2 other staffs. I was too occupied to leave a compliment on him while there. I can tell he is very switched on and a quick problem solver.

It has reasonable price for the decent stay with good location for short stay in Gangnam area. Chosun palace hotel shopping and Centerfield are a plus.

Great Location!!! It's close to Metro and bus station. Nice coffee shop around, 3-4 coffee shops around. I tried 2 of them, and it was really good.

The front staff were very nice and held our luggage for a few days until we returned. Indoor garage parking and Seven Eleven store & coffee shop next door was very convenient. The hotel was very clean and quiet but the only issue we had was the AC system. Our room only had the heating system in April.

Great facility at a reasonable price point. The only down side is that it is right in the middle of two subway stations. But there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. All in all, a good business hotel.

Shilla Stay is consistently good. It's a bit far from subway stations as it is located in the middle of the two stations, but one can take buses, as a bus station is literally right in front of the property. Dining options are decent around this hotel, though most of the restaurants are catered towards office workers here.
