RECEPTION: Reception isn't always open and had a personnel but was able to do self-check in. BREAKFAST: You cook your own egg and wash your own dishes, they also had bread, butter, cereals, milk and juice. LAUNDRY: Self-laundry and we hang our semi-wet clothes near the stairs and it was safe. This one is a definite plus plus plus if you're staying in Seoul longer. BED: Double deck beds and the bed was a bit hard to my liking. I asked for an extra comforter to make my bed more comfortable. The double deck made the room more spacious and I saw those with double beds and was quite cramped. TOILETRIES: Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash provided, others make sure you have your own supply. Slippers also available. LUGGAGE: Left luggage facility available. You just leave it near the reception area. AREA: Very near the train, airport bus, food, money exchange and everything a tourist would need. WIFI: Very poor. Needs improvement.

Most securities room access and most choose for breakfast.
Pros: excellent location, lots of restaurants, close to airport limousine, allowance cooking in kitchen, provide simple breakfast, small but adequate room size, stable wifi, good hot water, quiet air-conditioner, provide tea bags and instant coffee 24 hrs.
Cons: no hooks in bathroom, creaky bunk beds, towels not clean enough.

Location great. Room/Linens need major TLC.
At this guesthouse, you’d see posted reminders to give them the “highest ratings at your booking website.” I honestly would love to do that if it was worth the service that I got. I am a very easy person to please and would gladly give a good rating if it is well-deserved. However, I would like to give my honest take on this place. Let me put things in perspective. I stayed in their “eKonomy” room, probably their cheapest private room. I saw the space in pictures so I was not surprised by how tiny the room was. I could let the lack of space go if the room and beddings were clean. They were not. All reviews here about bed stains were true. Several black and yellow marks on the linens. Gross. The thing is, with these stains, one can’t really tell whether they were washed or not. Nevertheless, they weren’t in the condition to be used by paying customers. I slept on one side of the bed with the least amount of stains. I shouldn’t have had to do that. And the bed was super hard. Moreover, I could not bear to put my feet on the slippers they provided; they were just as dirty. Maybe it’s bcz I stayed in their cheapest room? Still. Unacceptable.
Positive? Location and elevator. You can’t go wrong with this place’s location in Myeongdong (shopping, subway, restos, airport bus and Catholic church).
I hope management will take this review as a challenge to do better bcz from what I’ve observed, SKoreans always strive to be perfect - in all things.

Hi! First of all, sorry for the discomfort that was made by our guesthouse. We will regard your mention as a complement and try to reflect it in running our guesthouse. Once again, we apologize for the unsatisfied situation we made. Sorry and thank you for your comments.
Excellent location. Quiet despite being in the shopping district. Self check-in. No one was at the desk when I arrived nor when I departed. Key was out for me with instructions. Was tiny in size, but provided everything I needed. My big complaint was that the sheets were not freshly laundered. They were dirty and had hair on them. Gross!

Thank you for high ratings! We will reflect your mentions in running our guesthouse! Thanks!
Its a great place for backpackers or weekend getaways. The room is ok and breakfast is a plus... but the heater inside room was not warm enough so it was a little chilly lucky the comforter was fluffy and smells really clean.. overall its a good place and will recommend to my friends and will definitely book again :)
Staff was nice, location was good but room was really a big disappointment. I have stayed in other K-Guesthouse in Myeongdong previously, they may be small but very clean & comfortable. However, his one has torned bedsheets n pillow cases. The bedsheets/pillow cases/quilt cover & towels are all stained and not cleaned properly. I hope the management can improve on the cleanliness so that guests can stay comfortably!
Less than 5 mins walk and you are in Myeongdong shopping street! The staffs are very friendly and welcoming! They even allow us to check in early since the room is ready! Superb services provided by them!
Booked 6 nights and stayed one night.
Pros: location is convenient to subway and airport bus. The bed and pillow are good. Washroom is clean.
Cons: There is not enough space to put two suitcases in a double bed room. The is no separation of wet and dry areas in the washroom. It is a telephone short above the toilet. My wife hurt her back and one knee during our trip. Bending down at the suitcase is painful. At breakfast the next day, it was so crowded that we could not find a place to stand. We quickly ran to the closest McDonalds.
We explained the situation to Sarah, the manager before we leave. She said no refund for the five days we did not stay. Cancellation can only be made sometime earlier in March. But the point is " how do I know this is an uncomfortable place without spending at least one night".
I hope other travelers will learn from my experience. THINK TWICE BEFORE BOOKING.

There is some smell from the bed sheets/ cushions, also there are water on the window sides, maybe becos of the difference in room/outside temperature, this is better to be improved. We cannot control the air-con properly, suggest to include a brief Chi/Eng information for the remote control.
The guesthouse also assist to order fried chicken delivery which was really helpful for guests like us who don't speak Korean! And the shop they order the chicken from offer the best fried chicken we have ever had in Korea as well
We stayed for 6 days......location: near subway, airport bus, shopping malls, street food.
Hotel: nice clean place, staff very friendly and attends to your needs, nice breakfast.
I would recommend this place to my friends...... will give a grade of 98%
Stayed in K guesthouse 2 for 5 nights. It was so accessible from Myeongdong subway station exit 9. Less than 3 minutes walk away. Food options were endless as you can find just about any kind of food along the streets of Myeongdong.
Despite the rooms being a little small, everything else was great! The hospitality was superb! Sarah, the guesthouse manager was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She went out of her way to help us with our luggages to get a cab from the main road in the pouring rain.
I would definitely return and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for slightly budget accommodation with excellent location.
Great experience staying at a self service style hotel. Room is small but clean and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is very relaxing and comfortable stay with simple but adequate and thoughtful service.

Nice hotel for shopping
Nice place, very convenience for shopping, near subway and airport bus station
The staff were friendly and obliging.
The price was reasonably given the location but I wish the window shield could cover the entire room. There were gaps in between and the opp building can actually catch you in between Should have curtains maybe. And the room is a bit narrow. But other than that, the others were really fine..

Thank you for giving us good review.
It will help to improve this problem.
Thank you so much^^
The location was great. Just 1 min walk from the airport bus. Very convenient along myeongdong area. The staff was also cery accomodating. We checked in lates and their reception closes at 11pm but the staff waited for us until we arrived which was past 11 already. Breakfast was okay - bread jam cereals but you can onlu use the pantry grom 8am-11pm. So you won't be able ti get breakfast if you have early plans. Overall it was a good stay
Small, but very comfortable and pretty clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Located in central Myeongdong, close to all shopping. Overall, an enjoyable stay!
Stay in a single room for 2 days. The room size is small so it's not good if you carry large luggage and bought lots of stuff. There is a private bathroom but the room gets wet after shower.
However the price is reasonable in MyeongDong district(with simple breakfast), just one block away to the main street and a few minutes to the subway and airport bus. The service of the reception is good too.
Everything has been great, from the hotel location to the friendly and good service provided by the hotel manager and staff, and the room is just nice to stay in. Thanks for everything, and would definitely like to stay again during my next trip!

Less than 5 minutes walk from Myeongdong subway exit 9 and airport limousine bus! Room size is small however given the close proximity to Myeongdong shopping district, the price is reasonable. Cons-1)The reception closes by 11pm and they will leave the room key at the counter if you arrive after 11pm. 2)No housekeeping available but you can request for fresh towels (they only provide face towel and not bath towel) from the reception
We are disappointed of the room that they gave us. I booked room for 2 people but they gave us 1 twin room with bunk bed for 2 people. No space for our luggage so we decided to put on our bed and we slept with them uncomfortably. Breakfast is always eggs and toast, cereal and juice. I don t want to eat eggs everyday. maybe, they will alternate with other protein product like cheese and peanut/almond butter.
I'll make it simple:
- cleanliness is excellent
- its super value for the price you paid compared to other hotels situated in the same location
- 5 min to subway and airport bus
- namsan tower is within walkable distance, say abot 15 min walk
- lots of food on the street of the hotel as it is in myeondong shopping street
- breakfast was simple and enough (bread, eggs, orange juice, cereals, milk, tea, coffee )
- near to all soppong malls, lotte, shinsagae, etc.
- laundry provided free on each floor and i think its grea as i dont have to do laundry when im back home
- check in and out was less than 3 minutes! super easy
I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel my next trip and strongly recommend to anyone that like easy access and cleanliness :)

The guesthouse has a great location which is easily accessible and near the Myeongdong subway station. There is also a airport bus 6015 which stops near the guesthouse. It's great guesthouse for a solo traveler or friends but not for family as the room is quite small.
This new guesthouse is located in Myeongdong, which is a cool shopping area, with lots of coffee shops and activity. The area is most popular with young people but we also enjoy it. (We're 50+) It's very close to Myeongdong station in central Seoul so getting anywhere is easy. The room itself is excellent value. Our room was tiny but comfortable and spotless.
It was a good 7 days stay. Convenient to the subway - Myeongdong Line 4 - and the airport express bus stop is just before the subway entrance.
The moment you leave the lobby of your guesthouse... the action begins. Shops, boutiques, restaurants, stalls and all are everywhere. We are in the middle of Seoul's 2nd most expensive cities... the 1st being Gangnam.
The room is ok although a little more space will make the whole stay much better but nonetheless, it was within our expectation. Everything else was compromised by the excellent service from Jason and Wooki (if my spelling is right).
Arrived in Myeongdong on a Saturday evening a little weary from all the travelling. The Guesthouse itself took some time to find although it is located just less than 5 minutes away from where the airport bus stops. Location was great, just 1 cross-section away from all the hustle of Myeongdong, making it not too noisy and yet accessible to the shopping area. Room was very clean, although a little too small as walking space became limited with our luggages open. The staffs were friendly and homely, making you feel more in a guesthouse than in a hotel really.
