I tried many other hotels in Japan and American's should probably only use Monterey Hotels which are throughout Japan for the comforts we are used to and reasonably priced. "The positive part of this hotel was that the staff were lovely and considerate when I checked in and out. One girl offered me a hair dryer which was kind. The problem was that the room doors are metal and other people staying there don't appear to be considerate enough to close the doors quietly so they were banging shut all night.
