Pleasant and relaxing wind down over Christmas. Staff was very attentive to our needs allowing a late check out to accommodate a night flight home. The Studios being a short walk away from the main resort, there was a constant flow of available transfer buggies to and from, on demand. Would recommend the locale to anyone.

Staffs are nice but...

Staffs are very nice but the sliding door in my room did not work.... They fixed in late night but it took long time... Manager gave me late check out but no one had cleaned up my room when I asked clean up（turn on clean up button in my room ). The swimming pool and bar was V nice view:)

Absolutely beautiful hotel, Seasalt restaurant and it’s view are amazing. The pools by the beach are breathtaking. We like to walk and chill at different places when in Bali, but this hotel just made it so difficult to leave it’s grounds, even though the location is perfectly located by restaurants, cafes, bars, beach clubs etc etc. Just 1 minor thing I found not great was that our room was located in an adjacent building which was connected to the hotel only through a public street, which lessened the feeling of exclusivity..that said, buggies come and go constantly from the hotel’s main building which was alright and because the main building is further in, our building was located very conveniently right by the main street. Will definitely come back again

Wouldn’t recommend alila

This was my third stay at Alila, since the takeover by Hyatt, I was quite disappointed. Even though check in is 3pm, we didn’t get to our room till 3.50pm. Too long after an early morning start from home. Took 30 mins for a coke and a beer to arrive at the pool, and most staff were complacent. For the price you pay, the rooms are clinical and average.

Alila’s facilities was five star, from the pool to the pool bar, restaurant, room and spa. It was hard for me to leave the hotel and explore because I was so relaxed by the pool and beautiful views.

The first room was extremely noisy and under furnished. We were moved to a better room, but in the process, the door lock ran out of batteries and we were left stranded in the lobby in our pyjamas with no one updating us on any progress, while the problem was fixed so we could access our belongings. One day during our stay the room wasn’t serviced - despite the service light being left on all day.

This hotel is big, impressive, luxurious looking, located on a beautiful beach with lots of security in evidence. Our 3rd floor room was beautiful with a view of the ocean and was nicely appointed —except for no towel bars and slightly grayish towels. The breakfasts buffet has many excellent choices but it was not always easy to find a wait person to order the special items which took a while to Chadds me.

we had a putrid smell coming from the shower drain . On check in there was some left over personal shower bath oil left by a previous occupant which I personally thinks should have been removed prior to our arrival. when I made the booking online for a deluxe suite, the pictures used on the website led me to believe it was pool side. you might want to make that a little clearer.

Great location in the heart of Seminyak. Resort is beautiful and staff very attentive. Rooms are large and comfortable. Request a room away from the road to ensure you get a good nights sleep, as the noise from neighbouring bars late into the night is disruptive.

Amazing hotel! Staff are incredible and there to help. Room was a little loud with the Sea Vue Play drag show on some nights until midnight. Dead quiet after that. Will absolutely be going back

Great location right on the beach and close to all of the action of Seminyak. Staff were great, my partner got sick and they were very helpful in every way including arranging a doctor to our room, providing food not even on the menu and even transporting me to a pharmacy at 1am!

Wonderful resort, location, food and staff

Fantastic location, the staff are courteous and professional, working hard to ensure their guests are looked after and feel special. It's a busy hotel and there are a lot of guests but there are always plenty of staff around to help. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful, quality fresh ingredients prepared with real attention to detail. The views at sunset from the main complex are stunning. The beach itself is very large, quiet but the waves crash fairly aggressively meaning that swimming is probably not a great idea unless you are a very accomplished swimmer. Furthermore, the hotel advises guests not to swim in the ocean. Fortunately, there are several beautiful pools with loungers and water/shade readily available. It can get a little busy after approx. 11am so it's worth trying to have an earlier breakfast if you're determined to get a good spot. Seminyak traffic can be notorious but there are wonderful restaurants within a few minutes walk, you really are spoiled for choice. The studio rooms are large, have great facilities (but no bath) and are closer to the restaurants in. Seminyak. There can be a lot of noise from the nearby clubs but it generally tails off well before midnight. Upgrades may be available to the main complex which may be worthwhile but you have exactly the same access to facilities etc. If you're spending all day at the pool and eating out etc, I wouldnt break the bank for this upgrade. Easily one of the best resorts I've ever stayed in

We were very excited to stay at the Alila Studios Resort as we have heard of great things about the resort. Unfortunately our first night was horrific, it was a Friday night arriving from Melbourne. We went straight to our rooms which was on the 2nd level overlooking the bar/night club bar. The music was BLARING straight into the rooms, I made a complaint and the staff member said it'll stop at 12;30am, it didn't stop til 3;00am. Next morning we requested to be moved to the opposite side of the hotel, thank goodness you could not hear the bounding blaring music. Please be aware of this if you stay here, music is played every night, so make sure you stay on opposite side of night club. The Alila Studios are rooms only, in order to use facilities you need to catch a buggy to main resort, it was very easy and buggies came every 2-3 min. The pool area which overlooks the beach is relaxing and comfortable, sometimes there was not enough sunbeds which was a problem. Eventually once one was found, you were given two bottles of water/cold flannel. There are three pools to choice from. Afternoon tea is served from 4:00 til 5:00 everyday and it's complimentary. Well equipment gym, with yoga and other classes on offer. There is a section were bean bags are aligned overlooking the beach, very popular to view the sunset. Cookies were a treat, which were delivered every evening to your room. Alila beauty products were replenished every day, shampoo, conditioner, body milk, shower gel.

Great hotel, great big mistake with booking

The hotel itself is beautiful and has a fantastic location. We love that the pool isn’t chlorine. There are definite downsides when it comes to noise pollution in the area but all party music was shut down at midnight each night. We really enjoyed our time there and the breakfast was absolutely the best ofmour lives. HOWEVER, when we arrived our reservation was no where to be found. I had to show my hotels.com receipt and wait 3 hours for our room. We’re pretty easy going so we just hung out by the pool. What got us very upset was that once they told us our room was ready they asked for a credit card on file for incidentals. They ran the card, which happened to be a debit card, for the entire purchase of the stay which came out to about $500 American dollars. We had already paid for the room. They promised us the money would be back that day but we knew realistically that wasn’t happening. 4 days later the money is still not in the account and that is a bit nerve wracking being so far away from home. Besides that experience we really enjoyed ourselves!

Superb hotel close to beach and shops

Superb hotel close to beach and shops. Service recovery was impeccable reasons due to studio room facing restaurant/club and was playing loud music which having difficulties to sleep, sent feedback to hotel and the next morning was attended personally by customer service for a room change. Great pools with gorgeous views and breakfast was delicious. Definitely will be back and will try out their ocean view rooms.

Beautiful hotel

I'm a solo female single traveller. Im very grateful that the hotel fulfill my request upon check-in. Their service is fantastic from check-in to check-out. Best location, very convenient. Beautiful hotel, direct beach. However, the deluxe studio lack if personality. Nothing glamour with the studio layout and design. There are stain in all the towels provided. But it does not bother me much as I always bring my own towel. Comfy bed that make me sleep until check-out time! Lucky they give me extra time. I love this hotel and will come back again in 2 weeks time.
