Nice basic accommodation in quiet cut de sac. Rooms off the central courtyard may not be as quiet or private. There was hot water shower only twice in five days. Friendly staff and affordable meals from house kitchen. Bed covers a little pre loved.

Well, not that great, just ok for overnight
The pool was excellent, the room just ok, might during the pandemic, so the cleanliness bit less, but can't complain much, the staff tried did the best they can, just need upgrade the maintenance

Stayed July 19. Location was ok, down a long lane but close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Was very well priced at less than $100nzd for 2 rooms including breakfast for 4 of us. Breakfasts were very basic and a bit unorganised so wouldn’t bother with this option. Recommend for those on a budget but I’d look elsewhere next time.

Nice hotel but a little bit far from main road, you have to walk at least 200 to 300 meters on narrow road, but its near Potato Head bar and other best restaurants, waliking distance to beach beach.

Location is very good - albeit down back alley ( gang ) The rooms were large an spacious , just remember to make sure the " make up my room " is show on your door as the staff turned it around after they cleaned my room. I wouldn't bother having breakfast here, it took far to long to arrive and there's a plethora of places 5 mins walk away. All in all you get what you pay for in terms of service , rooms , cleanliness - not bad for the money and the location is good.

What a friendly staff and such a great location! They were always willing to go above and beyond for anything needed... cooked great breakfast every morning and always were helpful with any questions or services! The villa stay is at the end of a back alley away from the hustle and bustle of the street but close enough for anything walking distance. I’ll definitely stay here again in the future!

First of all this hotel is incredible hard to find, the taxi driver even struggled. Me, my wife and small baby arrived late in the evening to find a sign on the door saying (Closed to public - private party). We went to the front desk and the guy spoke very little English unfortunately. The first thing he said was we have no room, without us even saying we had a reservation. He then couldn't find our booking at all and told us we couldn't stay, after some insisting he found our booking and then said you can't stay we have no rooms as a private party had hired the whole hotel, but he said we could come back tomorrow. We got him to phone the manager/boss who again after some time finally agreed to give us refund (which we are still waiting to receive) We quickly booked another hotel for the night and left! I do sincerely hope we will receive our refund and I would NOT recommend staying here, pay a little more for something nicer and in a better location! The guest who had hired the whole hotel did come over and advised us that the staff aren't that helpful and you have to remind them to do things like get towels for the room, after the conversation with him and the service we received we beleive we made the right decision to not stay

Convenient location and nice pool for the price, but service and especially cleanliness could be much better. The room did not have towels and after asking a few times with no success we just gave up and started using the pool towels. The room is spacious, but the toiled is really dirty and smelly.

Nice Hotel
Nice hotel, close to the Main Street, but far enough away to be quiet. The staff were lovely and the rooms were spacious and clean. Also, a great pool area.

I travelled alone for a short stay. Nice hotel with big size room, good price value as i had a discount. Nice swimming pool too. The only suggestion i would have is to make the staff more available. It was sometime hard to get a hand on the staff or to grt understood. I admit i am impatient.

Great place for a great price!!!
The staff at Kubu Petitenget were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and we very much enjoyed the pool area. Our room was very spacious and clean. Definitely recommend to anyone to stay here.

We booked for the king sized bed and private pool, we go a double bed at best, the staff did not respect the do not disturb signs and kept entering our villa, the pool was not kept well and had missing parts to it making it not feel safe for swimming, the bathroom liquad soap had lots of bugs in it and they kept filling it up and not removing the bugs. It is private which was great (besides the uninvited staff) but also a downside as it’s so far down a tiny alley that’s not really walkable at night, The breakfast isn’t even worth the $2.50 you pay for with cold stale toast and undercooked eggs from the day previous, the juice was poor cordial and the overall experaince was so disappointing, a bad way to spend our 2nd half of the holiday

Great pool with excellent restaurant close by
Hotel is located on a quiet side road. The pool area is good and the room was clean and nice. The sofa bed (if you take this room for 3 people) wasn’t great, especially for tall people so for a long stay I could see this being an issue but for the three nights we stayed it was ok. Information from staff was at times very limited and the food options at the hotel are not amazing but within walking distance are lots of outstanding coffee shops and restaurants. We loved the area around this hotel and the quality of the room for the price we paid is great.

Great Hotel!
Best hotel for the price and location. Rooms were spacious and comfy. The hotel facilities were basic (pool and in-house food) but with the beach, bars and restaurants a short walk away, it allows you to experience the Bali culture whilst still being close to the heart of Seminyak.

This hotel is in a perfect location. 10 min walk to the beach-including Potato Head resort and many great restaurants and shopping. The staff are pretty helpful and friendly. Use google translate if communication isn’t clear. The room is a 2.5-3 star accommodation, clean. Rooms have an open patio overlooking the pool, this is very nice but it also means when another guest decides to sit outside and chat at 4am, like in my case, you can hear it. Save yourself time and money just get a taxi from the airport. The airport pick up service I requested from the hotel charged me 200,000rp. This fare is 2x more than you should pay. And I spent 10 minutes looking for the guy. There are many many options at the airport, so negotiate.

Excellent quiet hotel and a very competitive price
Great Hotel! The staff was amazing and very flexible. The room is huge and looks brand new. Breakfast served on the pool was good and cheap. The pool is nice, I used it everyday. I would recommend it to families, couples and even solo travelers like me. It's at the end of an awkward road but it's currently being paved so not a problem to walk. Restaurants and a supermarket around the corner.

I arrived after midnight with wonderful driver Wayan arranged by hotel waiting for me who took me to villa where reception too were awaiting my arrival. I needed a softer bed which they arranged the following day and nothing was too much trouble. A great value quiet location villa. Basic good value meals available by lovely Bu and I was very impressed by Ketut the receptionist who always asked if everything was ok and took enormous care with guests. Excellent takeaway menus available and massage ladies booked via villa were amazing and great value.. I'll definitely be staying again and bringing friends and family

Great Location, Huge modern rooms!
We stayed a week at Kubu Petitenget and were really happy with the accomodation. The rooms are very spacious and modern. The pool is great and gets plenty of sun (for those that enjoy soaking it up) with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The cafe does some great Indonesian meals for a very cheap price. Highly recommend the mie goreng and Fuyung Hai (omlette with sweet and sour sauce). The hotel Is located at the end of the gang that runs beside Sarong Restaurant. Everything you could need is within walking distance, laundry, minimarts, lots of restaurants and gym (daily gym) oh and spas! The gang gets dark at night so if you are walking ensure you have a light on your phone to guide you. Note whilst it is dark it is very safe, with heaps of villas on this gang. The staff were good, room was cleaned well, will help with ordering taxis etc if required. The only thing missing for us was a kettle, tea and coffee in the room which you pretty much get at most hotels ( not an issue but a suggestion for management). Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again and would recommend this place to others who are looking for great accomodation at affordable prices.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Kubu Petitenget in late June. It is a relatively new building with 6 rooms downstairs and the same upstairs. The rooms are simple having the main room of bed, wardrobe, handbasin and tv. There is also a room containing toilet and shower. Everything is still in relatively good condition. On arrival we were checked in but the bed sheets were dirty and the bathroom smelled. We changed to another room where the sheets were clean, but the bathroom also smelled. The king bed is two king singles joined together (both rooms were like this). There is no room phone, there is no tea/coffee making facilities or even a cup or glass to drink from. There is a balcony/patio and a pretty good pool, which is nice. The room was attended daily, bed made and floor swept. On request, the bathroom smell was neutralised.

Budget hotel with frills.
Distance to main road was abt a 5 mins walk. Room was hugh! Quiet as not many rooms n away from noise. Swimming pool was available for hot days. Downside is toothbrush was not provided though soap n shampoo were provided. There was no hot water kettle, though they do give you 2 bottles or water every day. Breakfast was the same throughout.

We booked two rooms for our stay - one room for three people and one room for two people. We had requested a late check-in. We got to our hotel around 2am to find that both rooms only accomodated two people. The staff were unwilling to help both at the time and the next morning when I complained again. The third person did not have a bed, pillow, blanket or even a towel. Apparently the hotel does not have any 'spare' bedding or towels for guests.

Decent and cheap hotel in Seminyak
Without a doubt, it is an affordable and nice hotel in Seminyak. The swimming pool in this hotel is also great, a nice place to chill out in the afternoon. However, the cleanliness of the room can be improved. There were some noticeable blood stains on the bed sheet. Found the bed rather hard too. Nonetheless, will recommend this hotel despite these teething errors.

We had a great stay and found the hotel extremely clean and in the ideal location.. particularly for the super budget cost. The pool gets lots of sun. The staff were super friendly and let us checkout at 8pm as our flight was late in the day. Super minimal rooms, but great for a clean place to sleep.

Tucked away retreat
When we arrived the hotel was tucked away in an alley which at first made me nervous but this ended up being what we loved about our stay the most. It was quite and secluded from all of the goings on in seminyak so you could literally just get away when you have had enough. The hotel is central to so much, you can walk to the beach, seminyak square and there are great organic coffee shops very close by (5min walk) and your afternoon beer stop even closer. The stay was comfortable and if you need anything the team are more than willing to help.

Really nice, new hotel with lovely staff and good food. Room is cleaned everyday and was one of the cleanest places I've stayed in Indonesia so far. The beach close is quite disappointing but can rent a bike or taxi and go to the one 10 minutes away which is lovely :)

Great lovation close to beach & seminyak
Great accomodation! Located down a quiet lane just off of main petitenget rd in seminyak. Short walk to beach and heart of town. If you are looking for a quiet, family owned and run balinese hotel, wich offers spotless comfortable rooms and a pool, with lovely staff and home cooked balinese food, then i can thoroughly recommend this hotel! My sister and i had a great experience here.

Really nice tucked away spor, staff upgraded us due to overbooking. Which was brilliant, however probably wouldnt pay the asking price for the upgrade. Breakfast was very average but staff were friendly and very comforting.

We stayed here for four nights. To get to the hotel we were driven far down a narrow road which felt really dodgy. The hotel room was average, We pushed two twin beds together and found loads of dust underneath. The weird smell from the bathroom would stink out the room unless we kept the door closed. Only nice thing was the balcony, pool and good wifi. The food for breakfast was hit or miss. The staff were sort of friendly but also sometimes didn't bother to say hi or really understand what we were saying which made some things difficult. From our room you could hear EVERYTHING. the hotel is small so I'm sure this is the case for all the rooms, you can hear all the noise outside your room that the staff would make, the local noise, and the noise from whoever was in the room next to you. For us the worst part was the location, it wasn't a far walk to places like potato head but it took about 20 mins to get to seminyak square. Also because of the road being very long and not having any light and having stray dogs we always had to get a taxi home. We wish we had known this before we booked.
