"Charming and beautiful guesthouse sitting above the bustle of the downtown area. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful, breakfast was delightful including fresh pressed orange juice. Easy check in, very cute room and a lovely terrace looking over the garden. I absolutely would stay here again any time."

"The property was large for the suite that we booked. Unfortunately there is a bar not too far from this hotel that kept patrons pretty loud until late in the evening drinking and shouting on the street while trying to sleep. Overall the hotel was in a great location to the university of Coimbra and uphill from the downtown city center."

"This is a very special property. Upon check in, we were told the legend of Pedro and Innes, a tragic and romantic story that allegedly took place here. This set the tone for our exploration of this grand and historic accommodation. The public lounges are exquisite, and the library is full of old-world charm. "A well located hotel with clean rooms. The rooms are small, but comfortable. They try to upsell you to a higher floor, but there is no advantage to it, and I don’t recommend it for the money. The breakfast was very well done and nice. "
