"This is not a hostel. It is a homeless shelter and should not be advertised on Expedia. There are no on site staff to sign you in. It is done via camera and tv. The place is not clean and there are no amenities. The pictures used show a social area with young backpackers but this is definitely how the building is now. "

"Called reception before staying as I wanted to clarify the room size ( the Expedia site said 3m sq) - no answer and no call back. I booked anyway. Reception staff member was fine, however the room was not. Dining table sticky with something - lucky I had antiseptic wipes. The bathroom had glue stuck to the floor in multiple areas and the toilet had yellow residue around the rim and a broken toilet seat. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash was on the floor of the shower and looked grubby. The...

"Beautiful heritage property in a nice location. Very spacious and clean. Only the bathroom and kitchen are a bit outdated and could be renovated."

"The rooms are basic but comfy with new bathrooms. The location is the real star though as you can walk almost anywhere in the CBD from there."

"There was plenty of parking but no amenities near by. Had to keep using an Uber all the time. The room was clean. But overlooked air conditioning over a roof which was very unsightly, not ideal. The place overall was basically a pub, no food which was inconvenient as i didnt have a car. They advertised meals but didnt have any. Would i stay here again, definitely NO. You need a vehicle to stay here. Theu mis advertised and need to change what they have available "

"Nice new building, however there is a weird smell in the room. Smell like rotten eggs but definitely not natural gas. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. No free on site parking but can park for free at the park and ride 200 metres away. "
