I don't think I have enough good things to say about the experience here at Podere Montale Il Borgo. The rooms are very nice, water pressure and temperature at the showers is amazing as well... bed is comfortable... but above all.... the scenery and the Estate is breathtaking. From the arrival you can tell how much work has been done for the guests to feel welcome, and how intentional have all design decisions been. The people we interacted with were amazing and super accommodating as well, the sommelier recommended some wine —pretty good wine too!— and the rest of the staff made our stay perfect. I'd L O V E to be back, 10000%

Gorgeous apartment, plenty of room. The balcony was an added bonus for viewing the beautiful Tuscan sunsets. The restaurant onsite was delightful and the staff was very helpful and kind. The grounds of the winery are just beautiful. This was a wonderful place to base ourselves for day trips around southern Tuscany. We’d stay here again.

We loved our stay! Beautiful property, excellent staff in all roles. Very friendly and helpful. We also did the aperitif and olive oil tours at the winery. Breakfast and dinner were delicious! And again very friendly staff. The only thing we missed was an air conditioner in our room. June was already very hot. Other than that it was amazing! We would return to this property in the future.

Tuscany's charm vs. the Honeymoon suite's reality

Unfortunately, my experience was not good. The property had great reviews, and I took my sister on a surprise relaxing trip through Tuscany. I chose the Honeymoon Suite to ensure our comfort, but was disappointed to find the room had no windows (it was very dark), just one glass door leading to a covered terrace with only dirty iron chairs and no other furniture. The bed had only two basic pillows, the furniture and bathroom were very basic. I usually try to stay positive and can overlook minor issues, but in this case, I felt the suite was highly overpriced for what was offered. There was absolutely no comfort at all. On a positive note, the breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant staff were friendly and polite. The area is unbelievably beautiful too.

Tuscany was the highlight of our time in Italy, and this hotel definitely played a part in that. It was rustic, cute, comfortable, and the sunset views were stunning. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We forgot to pack an umbrella and when we asked if the hotel had any, one of the staff gave us their own for the day. Such sweet hosts! Also, they have beautiful retriever dogs on site, one of which is usually laying around waiting for guests to give it some love (our favourite part of our stay). The osteria on site was also really good. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Tuscany, whether you're looking for a laid-back stay in a winery or a home base for exploring the region.

Esperienza nel complesso positiva ma non eccezionale. Non riesco a dare il massimo delle stelle perché ritengo che il prezzo del soggiorno sia davvero troppo elevato per quello che viene offerto. Podere comunque meraviglioso, location bellissima e piscina top. Colazione nella media. Monolocale "basilico" (diverso da quello realmente prenotato online) nulla di che...bagno che si potrebbe ristrutturare.. letto e cuscini non proprio comodi. Consiglio per gli schizzinosi: se scegliete le stanze al piano terra potrebbero entrare degli insetti... Ma siamo in piena campagna quindi c'è da aspettarselo! Consiglio per la struttura: per la cena a parer mio dovete optare per piatti tipici locali, non per piatti classici che si possono mangiare ovunque.

Una splendida struttura con una gestione discutibile. La struttura ha qualcosa di magico, per il paesaggio, la quiete e gli spazi. è un albergo diffuso con vere e proprie suite sparse nella tenuta. Peccato che la gestione sia assolutamente fredda e impersonale. Il ristorante era sottostaffato, menu serale fisso con attese lunghissime, in pratica un sequestro di persona. La colazione abbastanza scadente come qualità e presentazione. Anche in questo caso troppo poco personale con attese lunghe per caffetteria e refill del buffet. Lo consiglio come esperienza di pernottamento ma i servizi sono da rivedere!
