KING's HOTEL First

"We had a two night stay at King's Hotel First. We loved the proximity to the train station. We were three in the King's Suite on the first floor, and while the room was very spacious, it was a little frustrating that there was only one outlet in a corner opposite of the bed in the bedroom, so it was impossible to charge our phones next to the bed. Having complimentary chilled water in our mini-fridge was a nice perk! The breakfast was very well stocked with lots of options (once we followed the signs to find the non-deli options!). We tried to order some pizza downstairs in the bar/restaurant the last night, but they did not have any left to cook, so we had to settle for take-out from across the street. Plan in advance if you want to order dinner. Would stay here again if we were planning another trip to Munich."

"We had a very nice stay at the Maritim hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel was in a convenient location, if a little bit seedy. Our housekeeping on the fourth floor was not that great. Coffee packets never replenished over the three days and pajamas left under the bedcovers. "

"The hotel is in a great location and has great air conditioning which is a pretty big deal when it’s 90 degrees in Munich in May! Some of the staff were wonderful, some less so. Room was clean and bathroom large. Breakfast very nice. One elevator was down due to construction - totally get it but we mostly had to use the stairs because it would take too long to arrive or elevators full. Just an inconvenience. Overall good stay and we would recommend."

"The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection. Location was close to old town and to public transportation. Close to a grocery type store for supplies. No safe in the room and small bar fridge was not as cold as we would have liked. Staff hospitality could use some improvement."

"This is a very comfortable hotel in a convenient location, particularly if you want to travel about the city on SBahn or UBahn and the trams. The room was clean, large for a city centre hotel and comfortable. One smallish issue was that it was very warm. With only one window to crack open it got very hot and uncomfortable. The aircon was not switched on. Breakfast was excellent with great options and the Tea Bar was amazing. Maybe try a bit harder with the often dry and congealed fried eggs, but that is a small issue. For a few days sightseeing in Munich it was a great hotel."
