This hotel looks almost exactly like its picture in terms of the surrounding areas. When you step outside the door, the view is absolutely amazing. The room itself is clean and the cleaning staff is really helpful and attentive. We stayed for 5 days and had everything we needed to be comfortable. It's a very family friendly stay, though it was just my husband and I. The area is perfect for visiting all the hiking trails, shopping etc.
This is obviously a room rented out that is typically booked by those using the time share benefits. I have two complaints: Upon checking in the staff member at the front desk loudly announced our total bill like she was trying to prove to the other timeshare holders how much we were paying in comparison to them. This lacked a professional level of discretion. It should NOT have been public information! Simply stating, "Your total is on the screen" would have sufficed. This was followed by help from an adjacent desk staff member who gave us a map and general helpful directions for the area. She did try and get us to come in for an hour long presentation for the Hilton Vacation Club.
Finally, I do have some reservations about the room we were given-the view from our front window was blocked by storage and seemed like it wasn't the most desirable room in the building assigned. So altogether we really enjoyed the area and the cleaning staff was super helpful and attentive but the front desk and "room assignment" are less than stellar.
