And location was perfectly tucked away but accessible to everything close by. Real luxury touches! Only thing that would have improved it was having option for dinner on site but this was known and communicated very clearly and they were very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. "What a beautiful experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the best location with views of the piazza and the little port. Spacious room with spacious shower (can be rather small in many places). The staff was wonderful and the restaurant connected to the hotel was superb. Having been in Sicily for already 3 weeks the menu at Vela was a welcomed experience worthy of a trip there for sure. Alice and Giada and whole staff were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended and will visit again for sure."

"This hotel has a ton of character, clean rooms, good breakfast, and a very friendly and helpful staff. It’s super close to the beach and the parking is easy right out front. Being jet-lagged and my first night in Sicily, I couldn’t figure out how the AC unit worked, unfortunately, but opening the windows helped and I still slept very well. I will definitely come back to stay here again!"

"Very impressed with the management of a resort of this size. Full day of amenities if you wished to remain at the resort from the beautiful swimming pool, adult only beach, spa and daily activity calendar. You can walk for miles! Plenty of room at your choice of amenities. Complimentary buffet breakfast and dinner was outstanding. Food for every palate. Sciacca piazza was a short drive with beautiful views, restaurants and shopping. Returned to resort with beautiful live music beginning at 9:15 pm to enjoy a nightcap and sea breeze. Although this was an adult trip very family friendly. Will return if visiting west coast of Sicily again!"

"We thought a lot of effort had gone into the design of the hotel, rooms and what it provided. The staff were polite, with a shout out to the chef who engaged with everyone to ensure any dietry requirements were met, the breakfast was fantastic. The pool was big and deep enough to swim. The location was good, close to a cookery class and the Turkish stairs. The only gripe would be that the pool did not open (until 9), after breakfast."

"Beautiful hotel and pool located on the beach. Definitely recommend getting a sea view balcony because the view is stunning. I booked this hotel because the description said it was a 12 min walk to the Scala dei Turchi, it is much longer closer to 40 mins walking the beach. The restaurant dinner located onsite was okay and will do when not wanting to go anywhere for one night. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking for information about the local tourist attractions. Very clean and well maintained."
