We recently stayed at the Bellevue Club Hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
Our stay started with a negative interaction with the valet, who was rude and condescending when we briefly stopped to unload our car. Instead of a welcoming arrival, we were questioned about whether we were checking in before the door was abruptly opened. It set an uncomfortable tone right away.
At check-in, we were told we would receive a $25 food credit if we ordered from one of the hotel’s restaurants. We ordered room service, but the credit was never applied during our stay.
That evening, while trying to relax and watch a movie, the TV repeatedly kicked us out of streaming (around 15 times). In addition, there was a very loud noise coming from behind the bed approximately every 20 minutes, making it difficult to rest. When we contacted the front desk, we were offered a room change at 9pm after we were already unpacked and in pajamas, or to have someone come in the morning. We requested maintenance, and while the issue was eventually fixed, it took about 25 minutes.
After maintenance left, we noticed a significant amount of dust left behind the headboard — not minor, but enough to be clearly visible and uncomfortable.
At checkout, we expressed our concerns and received $38 back on our card. However, $25 of that was the food credit that should have been applied regardless. For the reputation and price of this hotel we expected a much higher level of service.
