"Very nice hotel. Room was bigger than I expected and in very good clean condition. Although on my own, I paid a tiny bit more for the double bed which was a really good size and well worth it. I also reserved a table at the on premise Thai Restaurant. Great food, freshly cooked and nice smiley service from all staff, meant it was a good experience. The hotel bar is very good too. "It’s a lovely hotel and very convenient stop. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We only had breakfast but it was delicious and plenty of it. The decor was lovely but needed a bit of tidying and the vase on the table needed a clean. I’m not keen on fake flowers which gather dust and the winter sun shows the glass vase needing a polish. I’m being picky hoping I’m being helpful. It was a fab stay and I thoroughly recommend it and would stay again. "

"The staff were efficient, welcoming and happy to help. We wanted a cheap & functional room and that’s what we got with a bonus of a fan. The parking was fantastic value - £5 for 24hrs and an easy walk to The Stadium of Light mainly along a pedestrian route. Definitely great value and superb staff."

"On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Really can’t fault our room was lovely felt homely & cosy, the area was nice & quiet. Highly recommend this place. We had the family room as it was the last one left for us to book & was a great size room. 10/10 "
