Beautiful views of crofts and the sea. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bed especially comfortable with cotton sheets and cushy duvet. Teas and coffee were available. Breakfast absolutely delicious with the host preparing any level of breakfast need.
Quaint little inn off the beaten path. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We felt so welcome. Breakfast was great. Our room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend. Not too far from the sites in Sumburgh.
Staff was so kind and helpful. Loved the friendly hospitality and the local feel. The location is convenient to the airport and Lerwick and other attractions. The room was comfortable. The view was great and the beach is right down the road. Highly recommend. Breakfast was great. Hand made to my liking.
Chris, Missa and Gail were the perfect hosts. This is one of the finest places we have ever stayed. Calming, scenic location above Spiggie Loch, near many sights, excellent food and personalized service.
Brought back fond memories of life in Shetland. The hotel is very comfortable and the facilities are good. The hotel is also near to public transport and Sumburgh airport. Spiggie Loch and the beaches are a short walk away. This beautiful area is fully accessible from the hotel. The owners are very kind and thoughtful.
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hosts treated us like royalty, and were there to help with lost luggage to a sick day. Like the best of a bed and breakfast, but serving dinner and with a bar. I can't say enough about how fabulously wonderful the whole week was at the Spiggie.

Hotel with a stunning panoramic view
The hotel is in an idyllic situation and is run by an enthusiastic couple who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.
The fabric of the hotel is a bit tired, Chris and Missa have plans to redevelop, but this does not spoil your stay.
Lovely hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Great to have locals popping into the bar. Plenty of chats. Food good and almost too plentiful. I’m told the puddings were to die for!
They didn't have the booked room available so we agreed to have a double bed instead of a twin, there was no hot water in the evening but ons on the morning there was
