"This is a VIP cabin in the middle of heaven. The surrounding looks like it's out of a nature postcard.
Location is very convinient to explore Skye, assuming you have a car. You do need one to stay at this cabin."
"A very nice room although I found the bed a bit soft. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. I ate in the restaurant twice but recommend eating at some of the restaurants in town."
"I understand monies might be limited to keep a landmark building up to our modern standards. But, lumpy creaky mattress, missing light bulbs, a TV/no channels programmed, a simple box of tissues all lacking even after a request placed.
But, all in all a roof over our heads, a good shower facility, a view of the water & Bressay Island, central location for exploring the shops and walking the wonderful town of Lerwick."
"A fantastic stay at Kintail Lodge! We stayed in the beautiful room number 1, with a lovely view. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh, and very comfortable.
Helen is a wonderful host, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Breakfast was excellent, and we had dinners always in their restuarant, which was very good too.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back!"
"Nice hotel , first time. Booked it for my husbands birthday as he wanted to try because we have stayed a few times at the waterside & loved it. Preferred the waterside. Food is better although we had a good meal at the gailes. My husband is really hard to please. A retired chef.😗
My meal was really nice but my husband had battered fish & he did say it was tasteless. We had a good sleep & breakfast was good.Room was just as i had asked. Spotlessly clean. Well done to your cleaning staff,...
"Friendly helpful staff, clean room slightly tired, excellent breakfast with quality sausages and bacon!
Friday and Saturday nights can be quite loud outside the hotel being a city centre location."
