"Beautiful hotel - lovely room with area for the bed and then a lounge area. Bathroom is super spacious with a bath and separate shower. Great atmosphere in the bar, like a sing-a-long duo belting out bangers and basically the whole bar joining in and having a little dance. Just across the street from entrance to Leeds Castle when we attended a music concert. Very impressed by Lincoln itself. "

"Absolutely lovely stay at Duke William hotel. It was the perfect location for us to attend a concert at the castle, just a 1min walk away. The hotel check-in was simple, our room was lovely, albeit compact, the bed is huge and very comfortable, and it is very central and a historic building. "I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent—fresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!"

"A last minute booking because we were visiting friends in Brigg. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The parking, meals and access out of hours all explained to us. It was very warm so the fan in the room was very much appreciated "

"Spent 8 nights in England. Poplars was my fave of the 5 places we stayed. That was due to staff. Though my train left before (free) breakfast, they left food for us the night before and provided fresh coffee in the morning. Meant a lot to us. Close to all points of interest but a bit of walk from train station. Cheap uber rides available. Great pick to be near Lincoln Castle."
