"This is our third time staying here. The first time, the new owners had just bought it and explained that they were trying to fix it up from the old owners and apologized for the condition (cleanliness, tv’s not working, etc). With that in mind we stayed again last fall for a night and there were actually some slight improvements from the first time. Sadly, that was not the case this time. We booked two nights and left as soon as we woke up after the first night. If we hadn’t been tired, we would have left the evening before. In our room, the TV was still not working (2 years later), there were several bugs in our towels, in the lights, and on the ledges. The shower went cold multiple times after 10 minutes (as if it was on a timer). The blinds were damaged, the sink leaked with a pool of old water and bugs in a container, and the desk chair was a ripped folding chair. This is not owners trying to improve. This is sheer lack of caring in your property. Beyond that, there was ample evidence of people living there weekly/monthly, including a walker in the middle of the lot, 3 cars stuffed with their worldly possessions including pots and pans, and drinks/groceries lined up on the windowsills. Not only will we not be returning, we will never recommend this place to anyone, which is a shame because it is in an excellent location after a day of hiking, breweries, food, wineries, etc."
