"Lovely place to stay. Great hosts, really friendly and very helpful. Fernleigh is on a nice quiet street. A couple of good pubs just round the corner. The owners even mòved their car so we could tuck our motorbike on the drive. Would recommend without question. Oh,and a first class breakfast with proper tea!"

"The owners were very courteous and friendly. We only stayed the one night, but we were impressed with the condition and standard of the room. All the little extras were extreamly thoughtful, inc a small sewing kit, playing cards, a fridge with fresh milk, plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits, toiletries, iron, radio, tissues, water, immaculately clean linen and towels. Breakfast was tasty and filling with a variety of hot food as well as cereals, fruit, toast and juice. Very highly recommended....

"Simply stunning place to stay. Tucked away at the end of a picturesque country lane. Accommodation is top drawer. Peaceful and very relaxing. Walkable into Sandsend for fish and chips. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast - top notch. A real gem. "

Our bedroom was excellent with a great double bed with a beautiful shower and bathroom! and tea making facilities in the room the breakfast was outstanding she certainly takes care of her guests highly recommended!!"

"It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. "The property has some maintenance issues that need sorting. Carpet to bathroom and bedroom is loose. Its a curved staircase and its very dangerous. I asked about fixing it which i was told would be done by handyman. All he did was tuck it in so within a day was loose again which caused an accident. Bathroom is damp and paint and plaster is peeling off. Few other bits as well need sorting. Its a nice central place with lovely views. The owner has said it is getting an overhaul soon and all these...
