"Problems checking in, new software. Second night someone open our door when we were in the room front desk had assigned our room to someone else. I’m guessing another computer error as we were booked for 2 nights"

"It was an ok place to stay. I stayed just one night. Bed and bathroom was clean. Breakfast was served Food was lukewarm."

"The hotel is kind of a maze but it’s so cute! The indoor outdoor pool needs more chairs but it’s well sized and clean. The rooms are spacious and clean. Their breakfast last longer than a lot of hotels I’ve been to."

"The room and the cleanliness were great. The person who was supposed to cook the hot portion of breakfast didn’t show and the staff disappeared so they didn’t even explain what had happened. I would use this hotel chain again. It seems all businesses are plagued by poor employees now"

"The door to the bathroom was not aligned correctly and it was hard to close. The new carpet had a very strong smell to it. The smoking area was right at the front door so you had to walk through cigarette smoke and smell. Breakfast was just okay. They were doing construction during our visit. There were mattresses laying out by the dumpster. We won’t be staying there again."

"I did an online checkout and indicated we would be checking out at 11:00am. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30am, asked in the hallway at 9am if we were checking out and knocked on our door at 10:50am to see when we were leaving. Feeling rushed was not a fun way to end our trip. Otherwise it was a nice stay."

"Enjoy the free parking. The rooms were clean and accommodating. We used the weight room, which was very nice. Did not use the pool, but others were using it and seemed to enjoy it. The outside area appeared nice and inviting. We played a few games of connected four, but were unable to use the pool table, as it was always occupied. The only concerns, is when we checked in, the girl was very soft spoken and I had to ask her to repeat things a few times. She seemed very robotic and not really engaging. Had a tough time finding the stairs as well. I have issues with vertigo and taking the elevator can cause dizziness, so would have liked to had the stairs visible from the front check in area. Breakfast was good. My son waited quite a long time for pancakes though, about 20 minutes and then they were a little sloppy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and all of the accommodations and amentias available. We would stay here again in the future versus downtown Des Moines. The area has a lot to offer and seems pretty quant."
