"Great location less than 10 mins walk to the river with bridges, cafes/restaurants, and shops and similar distance in opposite direction to the train station - great for train travel to Ljubljana and nearby spots like Lake Bled for an easy day trip. Spacious modern room. Nice green feature where you can skip having your room serviced for a free drink from the hotel bar. Good extensive breakfast. Terrace bar was a good spot to relax after a long day out though there’s no view - only one of the across street office building. Overall enjoyed the stay at the City Hotel and it’s convenient location for visiting Ljubljana."

"Great from start to finish. Everything was wonderful from the room to the food. The coffee in the breakfast room was not good though, if I'm being really picky! A bit on the pricey side but worth it for the special occasion this time."

"Quirky place that is clean, comfy, and has a great little rooftop bar/ coffee/ hangout area. Positive youth hostel vibe and helpful staff. The rooms are small (come truly compact) but clean and the crazy ability to change the room lighting color is good fun. Breakfast was pricey, but I’d stay here again. "

"The hotel was close to the Bus station (10 min walk) and also it was about a 10 min walk to Preseren Square. The single room was a decent size with cupboard space. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good."

"We loved it here. The hotel looks fantastic inside and out. The room was clean and everything worked perfectly. House keeping staff were pleasant and professional. Breakfast buffet is amazing. So much choice and a lovely setting. All staff are super helpful. The hotel is situated in a great spot next to the main square. Perfect for the bus station and railway station and all the sights you want to see. So many choices of where to eat nearby and the hotel itself is not at all noisy despite being in such a prime spot. Wonderful hotel!! So glad we chose it. "
