I’m disabled & my husband went in to check us in with our reservation info, the credit card on file & my id. They wouldn’t accept that & said I had to come in even given the situation. He came out, parked & got out my walker. When I went in there were 2 fairly young people working the desk. Definitely not representative of what I expected from a Hilton affiliate. Both were unkempt & both had on fake long haired wigs. They asked about my service animal & then declared she wasn’t considered one - so much for legally not pressing me about all my disabilities. They told Md it would be another $75. I sat in the lobby, called the Hampton Zion next door. They had accommodations for all of us. We drove next door & my husband went in & everything was fine while I waited in the car.
I’d rather lose the $100+ money to t try hat booking then stay there.
I just had Marriott call offering intro into your plan. Told them we weren’t interest based on that encounter.
