Nice, big clean room and we enjoyed our stay with a few caveats. The building itself is noisy and you can hear everything from the surrounding rooms. Making this worse, the area around the property is also noisy with a nearby bar that had loud talking/yelling until after 2 AM. There was also a slight problem in with the room that took a lot of texts back and forth, but was never resolved. I think they did the best they could, but after A LOT of back and forth, nothing was ever resolved.

The property was very clean and spacious, but was the noisiest place I have ever stated. It sounded like the people upstairs were rearranging furniture and jumping off the bed all night. There were loud conversations in the alley all night long, and what sounded like saws and sanders going early in the morning. Homeless people on the street were asking for money or food everytime we walked by.

The property was wonderful, and city market and River Street was within walking distance. Apartment was stocked with all items that were needed to make the stay like home. Would recommend to family and friends

Beautiful, spacious and historic apartment in the best part of Savannah! Easy walking to everything you’d want to see and on a street with awesome spots for food, drinks and shopping. Super easy to find. Parking garage discount given for a spot 3 blocks down from the apartment. Check in and out so easy with Sonder. Very clean. Comfy beds. Well equiped kitchen. Elevator in building. Luxury bath products. Hope to stay in more Sonder apartments!

We rented the 2 BR apartment and it exceeded our expectations. Apartment was very spacious and clean and amenities were excellent. Loved the in-suite washer and dryer! Highly recommended

You were overjoyed to see how nice the apartment was. Everything we needed was there and it had so much space. One thing though, the beds are a little low and the fold out couch is not all that comfortable. Everything else was just delightful.

Fantastic location
Beautiful place! We loved it and would definitely stay here again. I am now going to consider Sonder whenever we look for places to stay. We really liked the scent in the lobby, but it is probably there because every once in a while, a smell of sewage comes up.

The location is absolutely perfect. We were there 4 nights and never had to get in our car (which is good because parking is offsite). The unit is modern and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. One side of the building is noisy but they provide a noise machine and ear plugs. Fantastic eating options and tourist attractions all around us! We would definitely stay here again.

the checkin process is not easy and accessing the property is not easy, required accessing multiple screens before getting to access numbers. there were two devices to enter numbers at the door...take off the old one, please. the beds are not very comfortable. on the plus side, the unit is very large and well-kept, very clean and filled with light. black out shades are great there. Sonder Ellis is well-situated on a main street, easy to walk to activities and dining. parking is easy during the week (in winter) but weekends are more of a challenge to find a space close by. This unit (2B) is at the back and looks at an alley, but it is quiet at night.

We arrived at the checkin time and the cleaning staff were still inside the property for cleaning service and the unit was not ready. The property was not even cleaned throughly. The floor was sticky. The couches and the beds were full of stains and dirty. The entire house smelled like sewage. The Bathroom was not clean and there was hair in the shower. The first night there as a loud TV noise from next door and we could not sleep and the second night there as loud noise from the street which again was disturbing. The location is excellent but I would say that is the only thing about this property.

Sonders was even better in person than what the beautiful photos depicted online! The living spaces were incredibly generous with extra large bedrooms and beds, a full kitchen, and luxurious bathrooms and decor. The washer/dryer was a HUGE plus as well! Any additional home supplies (coffee, detergent, toilet paper etc) were readily available in the common area. LOVE the security measures of key codes to access the building and rooms--doors were nice and heavy--I felt very safe with my children and parents. We will definitely be staying here again. Parking was the oy downside if you reserve for the weekend, but during the week, even street parking is not terrible. An ideal stay would be without a car and using bike taxis (easily flagged down--and they have business cards so you can make appointments) to get around to places that are just outside of walkable distance but still within city limits. Tourist building is 10 minute walk away with everything from walking to beer to trolley tours. Such an amazing space in the middle of a vibrant city. You will absolutely LOVE Sonders.
