"This is probably the best hotel in Savai’i. Need to cross the street to get to waterfront. There’s no beach, access water from a boat ramp.
Dinning at the restaurant for all 3 meals, food quality was good enough for pricing and variety.
Only outdoor shower in my bungalow."
"We loved our time at Stevensons. Yes, its a bit run down but the rooms are spacious and right on the beach - complete with turtles swimming out front of the resort. There are other places to eat down the road so you dont feel stuck there. I truely hope it can regain its former glory but either way we will be back, especially as it was more reasonably priced than other 'resorts' nearby."
"Hi, the property was nice, at the beach. beautiful surroundings. Check in staff was really good, very helpful. Breakfast staff was alright, the first morning the gentleman was helpful and friendly, the second morning the lady was not friendly. looked like she didn't want to be there. the food was ok, the poached eggs were solid, only small amounts of spreads available, and you needed to ask for it. the fried eggs were fried in water. "We loved our room which had cooking facilities. Marble floors and marble bathroom. Very luxurious. On closer inspection some maintenance issues emerged. Nothing happened when we asked for a seat to be fixed. It took nearly 24 hrs to get the TV working. We would have loved breakfast but unfortunately it wasn't included in our very expensive room rate. In future I will try to get a package deal. Loved the buffet evening with the brilliant string band. Amazing voices. Lovely staff."
