"My wife and I were extremely disappointed with our stay from the moment we walked in for check-in to the moment we left. Upon approaching the front desk, I noticed the employee was watching a video on her phone and a nearby maintenance worker had to alert her to my presence as she was not paying attention. She begun my check-in process, which included additional charges for early check-in and a pet fee (which we were aware of) but she charged them to a different guest with the same last name. I alerted her to the error and she made the correction and provided me with a receipt for the refund to my credit card. However the provided receipt included all the contact information for the other guest (i.e., name, email, and phone number) which made me question the security of my personal information. As for the conditions of the room, we were immediately greeted by a strong mildew odor and my wife noticed live, small cockroaches in the mini fridge. We weren’t able to put food inside the fridge that we had brought from home. After inspecting the rest of the room, we discovered more roaches in the bathroom and crawling around on various pieces of furniture. Surprisingly, the bed was moderately comfortable and appeared to be clean. Ultimately, after an uneasy night, we decided to check-out a day earlier and cut our trip short. Happy to provide pictures / videos of the roaches if requested. This visit has made us question if we’ll choose another La Quinta property in the future."

"This property has the best in some areas and the worst in others. Staff and pool/bar/dining were all very good. The rooms themselves are a mess in that they (at least the one we were in) and what we heard from other quests need a lot of work. Shabby paint, stained walls, broken or missing parts everywhere. This resort is made up of several buildings so be aware that if you are mobility challenged you may have problems. Also even though Hotel.com site says daily Housekeeping we were told that they come in on every third day. It's sad that the great staff is burdened by the fact the management can't / won't upgrade or even just a good maintenance repair routine to get the rooms at least less disgusting."

"Breakfast was ok, the hot tub was under repair (it happens) pool area very nice and refreshing. The staff was awesome, the room was clean and comfortable bed and pillows. Really thankful for the cruise shuttle that is available for a minimal cost (not run by motel but you book it through the motel upon check-in). Motel within walking distance of Burger King and a really nice Italian restaurant. Would recommend this motel. "

"The hotel was a bit dirty and not in great shape. The bathroom corners had built up dirt and mirror wasn’t clean. The bedding was clean and main bed was comfortable but pull out couch mattress was in pretty rough shape. It’s fine for a quick night before a trip but not great for much more than that. The shuttle was clean and reliable and all staff were friendly. "
