"Very nice hotel in the center of Piacenza - clean and comfortable and upscale in feel. Lovely rooftop bar with views over the town. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only negatives were poor WiFi in the room and lack of insulation so noise from the street and neighbouring rooms was an issue. Otherwise hotel was an excellent choice for us."

"Loved this small hotel tucked into a hillside with gorgeous views. Dinner fantastic with attentive staff. Not a large menu. Just a few first and second course dishes prepared just for that night. At the chefโs suggestion we shared plates of all of them. The pool has great views and drinks. The hilltown Fortunago is on the list of Italyโs best preserved and carefully maintained. Town so tiny nothing to do but enjoy the perfection of place. No tourist shops in sight. A true get-away. Excellent breakfast included, another plus."
