"I was so surprised to see how beautiful this house is inside — absolutely gorgeous! Even the taxi driver was shocked when he saw it. Although I only rented one room, I had full use of the entire house upstairs and downstairs, and I was the only guest during my stay. It felt like home, and if I had brought family with me, it would have been one happy household. The host and her aunt are incredibly kind, respectful, and welcoming. "The room was just like a regular hotel room. Nothing fancy, but I did enjoy the veranda. Overall, it was fine for the price. The hotel was older and you can tell. It’s starting to show its age in some areas but still for the price, I thought you couldn’t beat it. It was nice and relaxing, and the staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating! The shuttle taking you to the beach was nice in that particular beach was one of the nicer ones. I actually liked it just as well as the beach at Rodney Bay that we had to spend $30 one way for a cab ride. The food was about what I expected. It’s resort type food. I thought it was good but it’s not five star dining again, the price point paid reflected everything that I expected. Overall, I was very satisfied and I would stay there again."

"some Palm trees rounded up the view to the beach, it is very calm there, no cars, recommendation to join the Marigot beach resort in the after season, relax or make some tours around the island, by boot or car. If you not so fit, request a stay at a lower part, otherwise some steps are there for good exercise to reach the room, smile."

"I don’t think I have ever had a more beautiful view from my room in my life. It was like waking up to a painting every day. The service was amazing. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. The Anse Chansanet Beach was great and only topped by the short walk to the private Anse Mamin beach. Not the easiest place to get around if you have trouble walking, but everyone is very accommodating if you do need help getting around. If you have trouble walking hills, it will be harder to fully enjoy this special property. My wife enjoyed spa treatments in the spa, and we had a great couples massage in the room. Even without a/c, it always felt pleasant in our room. Jade Mountain is really a gem and we would highly recommend it. "
