"This hotel is located in an optimal spot for all of Porto! It is near the river where all the excitement and wine tasting is located. Close to all other areas of interest as well. This city is very hilly so be prepared for a good workout wherever you decide to venture to. The staff went over and above to help with whatever questions you may have. Friendly and very helpful. The location is a reasonable distance from the busy city of Porto over the river, while still being very accessible on the Gaia side, near the port wine cellars. We booked a studio room overlooking the Douro River with a stunning balcony view of the Luís I Bridge that we had to see to believe.
