Great property. Staff was amazing the the hospitality was unmatched. The room is spacious and very clean. The ambience was very relaxing. The area is quiet and at the top of the hill so you have amazing views. Not in walkable area so you need some sort of transportation. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful location.

This is away from all the chaos. It’s great for kids. The staff were lovely and always made us feel welcome. Great pool bar with cocktails, cold beer and great food. Great pool for all of us and the view back to oia, Fira and the volcanoe was pretty special. Breakfast was awesome. I feel incredibly relaxed after staying here.

Lovely staff, accommodation and beautiful sunsets

My daughter and I really enjoyed our short break at the Kalastesia Suites. The accommodation was really nice - we had a Comfort Suite and it was perfect for the two of us. We loved our little balcony overlooking the pool and the bay. The sunsets were gorgeous! The staff were all helpful and obliging. We were particularly impressed with Nick and Stavros in the bar/restaurant who were great company - we chatted with them a lot. The food served by the restaurant was excellent. The hotel staff arranged airport transfers for us and taxis to and from places that we wanted to visit, and were good at giving us recommendations regarding what to see and do. All in all, it was a fabulous few days and it was over much too soon!

Peaceful and beautiful stay

The views from Kalestesia Suites was absolutely stunning all day round. As it is at the top of the hill it is very peaceful. There aren’t that many rooms which makes it feel quite private. The hotel has everything we needed and the food was very tasty! They have a small team of staff who you’ll get to know quickly who will do anything to help and are so friendly. There is also a lovely cute dog on site who lives at the hotel who I loved cuddles with. A special mention to Theodorus Who was so incredibly helpful and kind. He helped us out and was on the other end of the phone whenever we needed him. Thank you Theodorus! Be aware - As it is right at the top of a hill it makes it very hard work to walk to the hotel! If you aren’t fit you will struggle. Taxi’s are super expensive on the island and car hire isn’t the cheapest.

I booked a premium suite well in advance with hot tub and sea view but unfortunately we were given the different room and we were not notified about that, they informed us that they are giving different room when they were transferring us from airport to room in the night, we can’t deny it because it was already midnight

Chambre spacieuse avec vue à couper le souffle. Dommage que la prestation ne soit pas au rendez-vous. Jacuzzi sale pour lequel aucune solution satisfaisante n’a été trouvée par le gérant. Nombreux problèmes d’électricité affectant l’établissement mais surtout notre logement. Encore une fois aucune solution proposée par le gérant. Prestation dégradée n’étant pas en accord avec le standing revendiqué ! Très décevant.

El hotel está en zona alejada de difícil acceso, en parte alta, muy expuesto al viento, es necesario alquilar un auto pequeño para poder llegar y moverse, yo coordiné con el hotel para que me recojan con mi familia desde el puerto pero nunca llegaron a recogernos, tuvimos que buscar transporte para ir al hotel que fue difícil ya que por lo alejado de este no quieren ir, tomamos 2 transportes y llegamos a la parte baja de la montaña, tuvimos que subir la cuesta empedrada con maletas para llegar al hotel, fue muy difícil y desagradable el inicio. El personal es amable pero limitado en número y preparación, no se dan abasto, el servicio por eso es regular. El hotel Tiene 2 zonas, la cercana a la piscina (blanca con celeste) que está muy bien y la más alejada que es más nueva (De color beige) que es incómoda y alejada, tienes que bajar y subir una pendiente empinada cada vez que sales o vas al cuarto. Me tocó estar en la zona alejada sin saberlo con antelación, no tuve servicio de limpieza de cuartos, y el viento muy fuerte le da de forma directa, alguien mayor de edad o con alguna discapacidad no podría estar en esas habitaciones. Por otro lado, no es verdad que el hotel está a pocos minutos caminando de la playa, esto es falso, es prácticamente imposible salir y volver o llegar a la playa o a cualquier lugar sin tener auto. Este hotel hace sentido solo si alquilas auto y te hospedas en las habitaciones de la zona cercana a la piscina (las blancas con celeste)

Nuestra primera vez visitando esta ciudad y este hotel desde que llegamos nos quedamos impresionados por el diseño de las instalaciones el ambiente todo muy bonito, las piscinas, la vista de la playa impresionante , pudimos disfrutar del sunset más hermoso desde este hotel , el restaurantes del lugar increíble , un hotel donde puedes encontrar todo , el personal demasiado atento tienen uno de los mejores staff que hemos disfrutado en cualquier otro hotel recomiendo mil veces este hotel quien desee tener unas vacaciones para llevar en su memoria de por vida este es el lugar nos encanto

Hotel sem estrutura profissional. Recepção caindo aos pedaços. Nao fomos informafos qur nossa hospedagem seria em um anexo (novo) distante do hotel. Cafe da.manha servido no quarto (eles que escolhem o que voce irá comer) muito simples, pouca fruta, nem manteiga oferecem. Tudo que voce solicitar a recepção, reze para ser atendido. O cúmulo foi que no primeiro dia de hospedagem, saimos para passear e recebe uma mensagem que deveria voltar ao hotel pois minha diaria teria vencido e meu quarto seria limpo para um novo hospede. Tínhamos reserva paga para tres dias. Nem desculpa pelo erro ou no check out perguntaram se gostaram. Nao vale a pena somente pela vista. Vista você terá pela.ilha toda.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti nel mese di Agosto presso questa struttura. Al momento del Check-In ci è stato comunicato che avremmo dovuto cambiare per ben 2 volte la camera per lavori di ristrutturazione. Nelle prime due camere il bagno puzzava di marcio. La colazione è stata l'esperienza peggiore! Non era a buffet ma bisognava fare la propria scelta la sera precedente specificando gli alimenti (pochissima scelta) e persino l'orario (8.30-9.30-10). Dosi ridotte e servizio pessimo effettuato da un cameriere immusonito e incapace di comunicare. L'ultima camera nel nuovo edificio distante dal principale era in effetti nuova e decisamente più bella. La colazione veniva servita in camera senza purtroppo poterla scegliere. Abbiamo quindi avuto la sorpresa ricevere una colazione da noi non gradita. Ciliegina sulla torta, l'addetto al transfer in auto dall'Hotel verso l'aeroporto (servizio al costo di 40 euro) non si è nemmeno degnato di aiutarci nel trasporto e carico dei bagagli. Non consigliamo assolutamente questa struttura.

Bien dans l'ensemble, personnel très accueillant. Établissement propre et très soigné. Mais attention il faut être véhiculé si vous souhaitez profiter des plages ou manger à l'extérieur.

Beau mais déçus, rapport qualité prix trop élevé, hôtel très excentré et douche à l eau salée - non précisé ! Point positif : le jacuzzi super chaud sur le toit et vue agréable mais dérangée par les voitures épaves sur le côté (hors hotel, pas de leur fait)

Una verdadera vergüenza ponerse en manos de Alex para el alquiler de un coche. Una pena que todo se fastidie por confiar en su recomendación para elegir la empresa de alquileres, nos estafaron cuando ya habíamos aterrizado en Madrid me desvalijaron la visa sin justificación alguna. Tras muchas reclamaciones y denuncias he perdido el dinero. Lo tienen muy bien organizado. Vergüenza.

The orientation when checking in was overkill. The manager is very nice but it just wasn't necessary to spend a half hour with him. This is a remote property and we were not told until we arrived that there is no longer a restaurant on property. However, this was a little inaccurate as there is a pool bar to order food from. So, there isn't a formal restaurant but we could get food each day. Also, there were 3 couples that checked in the day we did. We had made our reservation first and yet we were put in a temporary room and had to move the next morning. It would have been so nice to have been settled in our room from the first night. Lastly, it did seem like the staff felt a little put out when we modified the time we wanted breakfast and what we wanted for breakfast. That could just be Greek culture. I would still recommend the hotel.

I went to this resort alone with my two kids. The staff was really professional and yet friendly. The two-room apartment was super clean. The views from the resort are incredible. We spent a lot of time at relaxing at the pool. You must know the hotel location is remote. You need to rent a small car to access the hotel and the roads are really narrow and kind of difficult to navigate. That said, it’s all worth it!

Great hotel with exceptional service

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 young kids) had a great time at Kalestesia Suites. The suites are large compared to normal hotel rooms. Our room had a hot tub on the second floor balcony with an incredible view of the caldera. The kids spent many happy hours swimming in the pool. The hotel's host, Michael, helped us with everything we needed from restaurant advice to boat tours. When we chose to follow online reviews instead, we usually regretted it.

A boutique hotel nestled in the hill top of Akrotiri. Amazing views along with friendly and helpful staff made our stay one to remember. Highly recommended and hope to come again soon!
