Our stay at Abelonas was excellent! They staff were so nice and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious and clean. The view from our caldera view was amazing. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Pavlos and the two lovely ladies who took care of us.

Beautiful and quiet, luxurious having made to order breakfast brought to the room. A little hard to reach the front desk prior to check in and with limited hours/staffing. Imerovigli is lovely, but less of a hub for public transport so something to consider for those travelling without renting private transportation.

The host of the property is extremely accommodating and friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and immaculate. The daily breakfast is wonderful with fresh fruit and juice. I highly recommend this spot for anyone traveling here.

The staff was quite kind and accommodating and the location was nice with good value for cost. Unfortunately the bathroom floor drain had an issue that caused puddles to form overnight/throughout the day from back flow. The balcony breakfast was quaint and relaxing though not overly appetizing.

Pavlos is an excellent host and the hotel has a stunning view. It’s clean and quiet, a bit out of way in Imerovigli but walkable to everything. Highly recommend.

The host Pablo was friendly ans helpful, the breakfasts served in our room was outstanding, the view and room were nice. Hotel situated well, on the walking trail but in a cute quiet town away from the crush of tourists in Fira.

What a gem in Santorini. You get all the beautiful iconicviews, the incredible sunsets and sunrises and yet minimal crowd. Great parking. The staff is incredible. Highly recommend.

L'hôtel est très bien situé entre Fira et Oia, à 20min à pied de la station de bus de Fira qui dessert toute l'île Endroit très calme, très bon accueil et très bons conseils pour les visites Le petit déjeuner est varié et servi sur la terrasse de la chambre . The location is wonderful. Tons of views and hiking. The hotel was ok. Needs a little upgrade. Plenty of nice restaurants around it. The hotel was clean and kind of cute. If you are driving, parking is horrible. The hotel says it has parking before you book, but it’s just street parking shared by the locals, business and tourist. When I arrived, I asked where could I park, and I was told “that’s not my problem”. I understood it was a joke, and I didn’t make a big deal out of it, but I purposely booked the hotel bc it said I had parking. Taxi is crazy expensive to go from there anywhere on the island. If you try to use uber, it doesn’t let you choose the cheap taxi option (which shows a price of $17). Only the expensive one that starts around $50.

Loved our stay at Abelonas Retreat. Excellent location right on the walking trail. Amazing sunset views ( why struggle with all the gawkers in Oia when you can watch from your own place?). Nice pool for afternoon cooling. Clean. Comfortable beds. Loved the personalized breakfasts brought right to your door. Excellent staff. I’d give them a 10!
