"We had an excellent stay at Al Castello! Paolo was a magnificent host, with excellent restaurant and entertainment recommendations. He greeted us each morning at breakfast with coffees and special treats, as we watched Mount Etna fuming in the distance. He also helped us park and load the car. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel itself was convenient for the sights. I would absolutely recommend a stay! Thanks for everything Paolo!"

Hotel staff was excellent. We didn’t like the immediate area outside the hotel which was dirty, garbage, etc. The “sea view” room we reserved didn’t have a great view due to construction. More a view of an adjacent parking lot."

"Villa Pulejo is a restored mansion that is beautifully manicured and very nice rooms. They are across the highway from the ocean but you can see it from your room. They have a very good buffet breakfast each day with a variety of items. We used their pool which was also convenient and a great amenity. The Villa seems very popular for weddings in addition to being a hotel. We were about 15 minutes from downtown Messina and the best way to get there was by taxi or car rental."

We will definitely be back and highly recommend it, as we had such a wonderful experience."
